Swiss Chalet

Went in for take out yesterday, having previously ordered it online hours before. Was told they were bagging my order, after watching several people walk in and walk out with food I asked again (10 minutes later) in which the women was surprised I was still there only to find out it had been ready and sitting there the entire time. The kitchen staff complained the front staff never communicate with them. I got home and the appetizer I ordered was missing... and my daughters pasta was in a plastic bag!!! I eat at swiss often and was shocked by the service, it was my first and last time at this location. I was able to call and get a refund for the appetizer but what a terrible experience.

Rose our server was very polite. She listened to our concerns about previous visits, and made sure our food was fresh. It was hot the fries were fresh, which never happens at most locations.

Food was good as usual. Service, although friendly was rather slow. Lots of Uber /skip orders, and perhaps short staffed. What was really concerning was the pitch black rear parking lot. Very dangerous, and you have lots of seniors that come here.

Absolutely great service, food is consistently good. This waiter, Ramiro, deserves a raise PRONTO! (For real, he's a gem, he knows the customers and they know him. He's friendly, patient and a fun individual. People actually go out of their way to REQUEST sitting in his area... Don't lose him!)

I've been living overseas for over 20 years and this is the third time in a week I've been back to this location. Yes, I've seriously misses Swiss Chalet and each time has been great. I have to roll myself out to the car, especially with their phenomenal Thanksgiving special. Dagmar was our server tonight and she was great! 😁👍 It's a fantastic location where you'll love it! ☺️

I've been to many restaurants in Burlington... I've also frequented many chicken restaurants such as St. Hubert and Scores in the U.S... This location of Swiss Chalet owns our heart! Let me say, in some restaurants, I've had some not so good experiences and some memorable experiences. I know great service when I come across it..."Ramiro" is the absolute best! I can't say I've been to a restaurant that keeps me wanting to come back because of the service. His heart, like his service and caring ways, is by far the best! I'm not sure why this location has a low rating. We've always enjoyed everything about this location. Thank you, Ramiro, for making us feel so special! You're simply the best!!!

Decided to get take out from Swiss Chalet tonight. Really disappointed. I’m not sure if my chicken was undercooked or the quality of chicken isn’t good, but my chicken was pink. The portions were very small for the amount we paid. My son and husband got the chicken wing and rib combo and the ribs were tough and hard to get off the bone. My daughter got the loaded Perogies. She got 4 or 5 plain Perogies. I did call the store and received a store credit. Definitely won’t be using it towards a meal that contains chicken.
