CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED. Came here on a Monday afternoon in Dec on a whim after having coffee across the street. I tried the Blackened Chicken sandwich after I saw some reviews recommending it and it BLEW MY MIND… one of the most delicious sandwiches I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu.

This place deserves more business especially when you see the traffic across the street at one of their competitors. Stoney has much more than just bread and makes high quality food with good flavours. They are nice to change up sandwiches to salads too if you want to hold back on carbs. Their lamb sandwich was delicious.

Ordered Takeout , get to the restaurant and wait and the sign labeled TAKE OUT, i seen that they were pretty busy and i waited patiently for someone to greet me and ask what order i was waiting for, normal restaurant take out procedure. I wasn’t greeted and after waiting 10mins i go to the PLACE ORDER counter, and was told i was supposed to go to place order first in order to get my take out order. Anyways took that on the chin only to receive my order to look as such. Clear instructions should be mentioned if your have signs that are just for show.

This is one the popular brunch spots in Oakville and it can get very busy at times, specially during the weekends. We arrived around 11am on a long weekend and they had plenty of tables available, but by the time we were leaving, all the tables were full. You need to order your food first and get seated after. They bring your order to you, but if you need a coffee refill, or milk and cream, you need to pick them up yourself at the station. Coffee refill was a challenge for us, since we had to go through all other tables and wait for the staff to refill our coffee, and even there were times they were out of milk and had to drink our coffee black. We ordered “Key West Eggs”, “Crepe au Fraises”, “Slow Roasted Lamb” and “Canadian Peameal Back Bacon”. Our food was delicious and we would love to go back and try more of their menu items. Just expecting delays for our coffee this time. Lol

Came here for lunch on a Saturday. Was busy, but didn't have to wait too long for a table. Food was pretty good. You have to order first and then grab a table and they will bring your food to your table. Friendly staff. Would recommend and would come back again.

Visited Stoney’s over the weekend and was delighted with my meal. My partner and I shared the Alsacian Chicken and the Grilled Chicken (without the tapenade) sandwiches. Of the two, the Alsacian was our fave. A must try if you fancy the Brie+Apple combo. Since we cut the sandwiches in half we noticed that her side was a lot saucier than mine, while I had the majority of the Brie on my side. It is pricey, but the sandwiches are hunky. Their chicken is juicy, flavourful and you get a nice big portion that makes you feel like you almost got what you paid for. Even so, $20 for just a sandwich is difficult to justify. Returning on a treat myself kinda day.

Great brunch place in Oakville. The bread is always fresh and the serving is generous. - I’ve tried a few different sandwiches off the menu and they are all quite tasty - the pulled pork is definitely my favourite one, it’s messy so don’t order that on your first date. The worst part is lining up for a spot because it’s always bumpin in here and you end up drooling over everyone else’s food while waiting and simultaneously wondering if you ordered the right thing because their food looks bomb too….

This was a cute spot in Oakville that we stopped at for a quick dinner! The food was delicious, but I found it quite pricey for what it was. The daily special chicken sandwich was $19 and the jambalaya pasta was $25 which was a big excessive in my opinion for a take-out/cafe style spot (I could get pasta for the same price at an actual sit-down Italian restaurant). Everything was delicious though!
