Absolutely LOVE this place! From the food to the service, everything is simply flawless. As a vegan, I can confidently say this is a must-visit spot—everyone should try it, whether vegan or not! The menu offers a wide variety of options, each with a unique twist, full of flavor, and the portions are incredibly generous. The team here goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome every single time. The food is outstanding, but it's the combination of incredible flavors and top-notch service that truly elevates the experience. Thank you to the entire team for always exceeding my expectations! ✨ Highly recommend!

You can see, feel and taste the effort they put into the details that make dining here so special. We were wowed by the mint in the water, so different! My only complaint is that my girlfriend stopped talking to me when the food came - jokes aside… it was that good. Everything from a to z was phenomenal.

After a long day of training, a group of ten of us ventured to Maro's and it turned out to be exactly what we needed—a welcoming and authentic dining experience that exceeded our expectations from start to finish. The moment you walk through the door, the tantalizing aroma of freshly prepared dishes draws you in, whetting your appetite instantly. We opted for several shareables, and each was a standout in its own right. The K-SAQ was a delight—perfectly fried cauliflower, rich hummus, and the true highlight: the fried halloumi, which added a savory crunch we couldn’t get enough of. The baba ghanoush was also a favorite, beautifully creamy and seasoned to perfection. For our vegetarian friend, the Veggie Tower delivered in both presentation and taste. This impressive dish combined Moroccan couscous with a generous portion of grilled vegetables, all cooked to tender perfection and packed with vibrant flavors. The Fairooz dish, featuring a mix of beef and lamb, was superb. Each bite of the tender, juicy meat was balanced by a bed of vegetables and those irresistible Lebanese garlic potatoes. Another highlight was the Babel, a deconstructed take on kebba with minced beef over bulgur. This fresh interpretation brought out each ingredient’s richness—a true culinary innovation. The Lebanese Cepavi is a tandoori grilled chicken pieces, was a bit dry but full of flavours. My personal favorite was Lunch in Beirut, a plate of chicken shawarma, impeccably juicy and seasoned. The flavors were spot on, and the onions and peppers added a fantastic depth to the dish. We concluded with a delightful mint tea, a warm and aromatic finish that capped off our meal perfectly. Our host, Rukkayya, was exceptional. The place was packed, however, she was attentive, professional, and added a genuine warmth to our experience. Her hospitality made a great meal feel even more memorable. It’s rare to find both outstanding food and service, but this visit delivered on both fronts. All in all, Maro's is a must-visit, especially if you’re after an immersive dining experience around Oakville/Burlington area. We left completely satisfied and can’t wait to return!

Finally, I found a great Middle Eastern restaurant with delicious flavours and the perfect level of spiciness for me. The service was excellent, and the prices were reasonable. I highly recommend the cauliflower and the hummus. In my opinion, u have THE best hummus in Canada by far, I'll be back.

Went for lunch with a couple of friends and we were stuffed by the end! I got the Maro’s Special with chicken shawarma as well as the Tehran Fog. We were shocked by the portion sizes and it really made the ~$30 per dish pricing make sense and worth it. The dish was delicious - I only wish that the chicken shawarma we got was a bit more browned/slightly crispy like we are used to. The chicken on the spit looked more well-browned by the end of our meal so maybe it wasn’t in the ideal stage yet. Still really tasty, just a personal preference. I personally don’t think the Tehran Fog was worth it for the price, the tea flavour wasn’t very strong and felt a little watered down. The fried cauliflower was so good! Definitely an attention grabber but with the flavours to back it up - I like how the spices were nicely embedded in the little crevices of the cauliflower texture. Would come back!

The best mixture of middle eastern cuisine with western influences. We tried kale bowl salad which was very refreshing and miami affair with spicy hot jalapeño and underground Tehran cocktail which is really good sour vodka drink.

The vibe, decor, service and energy of this place is wonderful. The service is efficient, courteous and not overbearing. They bring over pitchers of water with a mint sprig, it's refreshing and adds to the overall esthetic. There were 5 of us, we started off with mocktails and ordered with a feast of dishes. (See photos). Here are some the dishes we ordered. The food was FRESH and tasty made with ripe and ready vegetables, no pink tomatoes at this place!! FATOUSH K-SAQ Fried cauliflower, hummus, fried halloumi cheese, red muhammara, BBQ artichoke hearts, baba ghanoush VEGGIE TOWER Moroccan couscous, seasonal grilled vegetables, hummus, avocado, sumac dressing, dates, fried onion LUNCH IN BEIRUT Chicken shawarma sautéed with onions and peppers, hummus, beets, cucumber.

If you're looking for a Middle Eastern restaurant in Oakville that offers a unique twist on traditional cuisine, then you must visit this place. The restaurant is a perfect blend of modern and traditional elements, resulting in an atmosphere that is both chic and comfortable. The food is simply outstanding - the unique twist adds a new dimension of flavor, while still maintaining the authentic taste and aroma of Middle Eastern cuisine. One of the best things about this restaurant is that the prices are quite reasonable, and the portions are quite generous. Additionally, the owner and staff are incredibly friendly and present, which adds a personal touch to your dining experience. The only downsides to this restaurant are the limited number of washrooms, which can be inconvenient when it's busy. The coordination of food being brought to the table could be improved. The tables are relatively small, and the plates are large, making it difficult to find space for everything. Despite these minor issues, this Middle Eastern restaurant is undoubtedly one of the best in GTA. The food is simply delicious, and the unique twist on traditional cuisine is a refreshing change. Overall, it's an excellent dining experience that is well worth the visit.
