Sonny's Drive In

Guessing a “Brampton man” bought this place and have been cheating out on the quality of ingredients. Fries not sure if they are fresh cut and more and patty has to be frozen now. The flavour I have been coming to get for the last 15 years is no where to be found. Please get this place back to its old ways

Have been coming for near 40 years. Burger tasted weird. The flavour I came to know was gone. They have gone to cheap little pickle wedges from the old real pickle slices. May have gone Indian so food tastes different and cheaper. May come back one more time to see if it’s just a bad day I stopped in on. I don’t know why people who buy successful eateries change the food. You bought it because it was successful. I stopped in around 1 pm on a Tuesday where they have their 12.95 special and the place was empty. It used to be a line up all the time. Please get back to the way it used to be otherwise you probably won’t be around

We’d often seen Sonny's Drive-In from the outside, and one day, we finally decided to give it a try — and we’re so glad we did! The atmosphere inside was light and welcoming, setting the perfect mood for our meal. We ordered the chicken wrap and burger, and the food was simply outstanding. The chicken was perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor; we honestly haven’t had chicken this delicious anywhere else in Brampton! From the first bite, we were hooked. One tip for anyone visiting: make sure to bring cash, as Sonny’s is cash-only. While they do have an ATM on-site, it’s always best to avoid those extra fees if you can. Sonny's Drive-In is a must-visit if you're in Brampton and craving a flavorful, hearty meal!

I only go here when I’m craving a cheeseburger. I love the charcoal taste and their poutine is so hearty, salty and delicious. The size of the poutine did shrink a bit but it still tastes the same :) Very simple and delicious!

We love Sonny's. I was saddened to get something under par. We ordered a cheeseburger and fries with gravy. Fabulous. We also ordered a pork souvlaki on a pita. It was very undercooked in the centre. One bite the meat was slippery and raw. The portion of fries was also a lot smaller. We've lived in Brampton most of our lives and it's sad to see this kind of food from a great icon.

The food was amazing. We had the fried chicken on a bun (not bad, good portion) but the sausage on a bun was absolutely to die for. We will 1000% be going back and have been craving it since we had it. Simple place, simple menu, excellent food. There are a few picnic tables outside and no room to stand/sit inside. The day we went, it was raining so we stood outside barely for a moment and then ended up eating in our car. Some seats on the covered patio would've been helpful but irrespective, we will be going back.

Love this place . Ordered 2 burgers, onion rings and 2 drinks . Way cheaper than your average fast food restaurant. Enjoyed the food. They put too much ketchup on one burger. Service and atmosphere were great . Staff was nice and friendly. Not a long wait for the food . Definitely worth it. Please try it for yourself. Definitely better than McDonalds.
