Song Cook's Korean Chili

Fully Halal akorean food!!! My kids were craving halal Korean when a friend recommended this place and we were not disappointed. The Korean fried chicken was delicious and we had to order more to pack for home. Lovely private booths for private dining where we felt right at home.

I really wonder where the other reviewers get their weed/shrooms/acid from, because they're on some good stuff to give this place 5 stars. Fellas, K-pocha, The Fry, and Sikgaek EXIST and are minutes away. The snow cheese chicken is just melted cheese. The crisp of the chicken doesn't compare to other nearby locations and it's incredibly over priced for the serving size and quality. Food aside, the space is tight and cramped. Edit: Can't believe I have to update the review for this dumpster fire but the tteok-bokki - the 18-19 dollar one btw - came with only 7 pieces of rice cake. The rest of it was filled with cabbage. This place blows chunks.

Probably one of the worst Korean restaurants in Mississauga, they used to be so much better. We walked in at noon on a Friday and the place was empty, that should have been my first clue. I ordered the bibimbap and was disappointed, as the food received did not match the advertised ingredients, I'm assuming in the name of cost cutting and cheapness, total rip off. The Korean Fried chicken was meh, it was clearly not made to order, the Jajangmyeon was decent with a big portion size. They have the nerve to charge for refills of banchan. They can do what they want, but no other Korean restaurant does that and just screams cheap. Do yourself a favor and find your Korean food elsewhere, there are much better and cheaper choices nearby.

Absolutely loved the experience. From customer service to food, it was all exceptional. Tried this for the first time and will be coming back again. The staff was courteous and helped us understand the dishes we ordered. Spicy candy fried chicken and vegetable pancake were most loved by us. Hot pot was an amazing experience.

Wanted to try more korean-style food places around GTA & found this place via google! 1st impression- the PLACE is soo homey & intimate inside- great place for dates/getting to know someone! Lots of warm lighting & home-vibes! Service was very welcoming and courteous. The food was honestly pretty good- ordered the tteokbokki & half/half. FAV was definitely the tteokbokki- big pieces & flavourful! It IS a bit pricey and a bit smaller portions but definitely had enough left over to take home! Overall: great food & intimate experience! The owner said it’s been here for 15 years & hoping it goes for 15+ more! 🙏🏽

This is by far the best Korean restaurant I’ve been to in the GTA (and it’s halal!) I always order the kimchi fried rice, honey garlic chicken, spicy candy chicken, cheese corn, black bean noodle, and spicy rice cake, it’s always delicious!! The staff is also so friendly and kind, especially Ko! The dining setting is also great and private with curtains for every table. 10/10 I recommend this place to everyone, and bring my friends all the time!

I liked their fried chicken but other items were okay type. Price is comparatively high. Plus 15-20% service charge needs to pay. ☹️ But surprise to see they couldn’t give us bowl for our 20 people as they don’t have 😅

I’ve been here quite a few times; each time, introducing someone new to the restaurant. It’s quite unassuming from the outside, so don’t let that deter you. The food is all very flavourful and filling! I highly highly recommend the kimchi fries and candy fried chicken 🤤
