It may look good , but it is definitely not. For 3 poutines I spent over $55. The prices for the sizes of the poutines was no where to be seen, i would have ordered a way smaller size if that was the case cause $50 for three mid tasting poutines was absolutely outrageous, everyone else leaving nice reviews for this place are definitely bs cause this place was not worth it at all. Maybe it was just the person who made these but I’d rather go to McDonald’s next time I’d get a way better tasting poutine for much cheaper

For the price of the “Wow” size poutine ($20+), chicken pieces were small and cheese curds were still cold and not melted. Taste of the gravy and fries are good but overall food was below expectations. :(

I'm surprised this has such a high rating considering how mid it was ... I got the traditional veggie poutine and aside from the cheese curds, everything else was lacklustre, especially the gravy. It was oddly sweet and not that savoury. Maybe I came on an off day but for $14 this was very disappointing. + After looking through the reviews there seem to be a LOT of fake 5-stars. lol.

Stay away from the Nashville sandwich, was basically horrible. It’s a chicken piece dipped in BBQ sauce and that’s it. Also, the fries were extremely bland and not even salted well. I was passing by and thought to get a quick bite, but I really regret it.

At Smokes Poutinerie, where bold graphics set a fun stage, the reality didn’t match the decor. With an empty spot at 8pm on a weekday, the 15-minute wait for poutine seemed too long. The tables were sticky, and it felt like they’d seen better days. When the poutine came, it was a letdown. The fries, curds, and gravy didn't come together, each part sticking to itself. It made me wonder if I just chose the wrong day or the wrong thing. But it’s clear, this time, Smokes didn't live up to its hype.

Everything on their menu is a major hit. You can't go wrong with any combo of poutine and side. The restaurant has lots of great design elements like the disco ball and the music video TV.

I've been here a few times so far and greatly enjoyed both the food and atmosphere. If you're a poutine lover, obviously this place is a fine choice for a meal. And if you're a hair metal aficionado like me, you'll love the music video playlist they've got going on their TV. I'll definitely keep coming back!

Hands down the best place for the comfort food in the web. Thank you for bringing this much needed franchise close to McMaster. Customer service is top notch. I definitely recommend this place.
