This is one of our most favourite Korean restaurants. We've been going here for nearly a decade and the quality of food as well as service has never deteriorated. We love the atmosphere and decor and the staff (owner, servers, cooks) are all super friendly and helpful. The food is always delicious and we will keep coming back for as long as they stay open.

Really solid Korean restaurant and they stay open pretty late which is make them a great spot for late night dinner or snack! We got their soft tofu seafood soup and the boneless chicken in Joseph flavor. The Joseph flavor is like a creamy nut cheesy sauce. The chicken was crispy but the sauce was very rich and cheesy. Their soup was filled with toppings and pipping hot when it came out. The staff was kind and the food came out fairly quickly! I also love that they have private seating which are separated dividers.

Sikgaek Korean Restaurant and Bar has good, delicious food, but the prices are definitely on the high side. The dishes were tasty, but $11 for corn and cheese is a bit much. If you don’t mind spending a little extra, it’s worth a try. The bill for 2 people including soju was $120

Their Joseph boneless chicken was a sweet and cheesy flavour not quite the same as yangnam. Despite the odd combination, it was good! Their tofu stew was also really good but the portion was a bit smaller. The servers were attentive and apologetic when they accidentally gave us the wrong stew and even offered us both for free.

Small seating booths give it a great, warm vibe and the food was fantastic! Had Beef Bulgogi on Rice, Corn Cheese and Cream Tteokbokki, all of which were amazing and the servers make you feel right at home! Will be going again soon to try their hot plates and fried chicken.

The food was really good, the staff seemed to have forgotten about us after we were seated. We rang the buzzer to let them know we were ready, but no one showed up. After getting their attention, the food came out pretty fast. I would still recommend eating here.

All my teenage nieces who are into Korean culture loved the food here. They had the Sotteok Sotteok ($12), Takoyaki ($12), Cheese Ramen ($17) and Original Street Food Style Ttokbokki ($17). My usual Korean go-to is Bibimbap but I wanted to try something different. I was curious about their Omurice so ended up getting it with Donkatsu and vegetable fried rice and house sauce ($20). The sweetness of the sauce shocked me a little as I’m not really a fan of sweet except in desserts. The fried pork was crispy but nothing special as was the fried rice. I probably wouldn’t get that dish again or maybe try it with a different protein and sauce. I also got the Bibim Dumpling (10 pcs) ($15) and it was just okay but the little salad it came with was quite flavorful and had good acidity. The Gamjatang (Pork Bone) Hot Pot ($43) was enough for three people. My mom said she had better broth at another place but noted the pork was pretty good. Also shared was a Vegetable Pancake ($18) which was okay and Japchae with Beef ($19) which nobody ended up eating as we were all pretty full. We ordered too much food. We had reservations for 5pm on a Sunday but it wasn’t busy at all. The place has a nice cosy atmosphere and has rooms you can reserve for up to 6 people. Just note you need to ring a bell for service. It wasn’t explained to us when we got seated and a few in our group got irritated when nobody came to take our order. It’s a good thing I had experience at another a Korean place and noticed the bells on the wall.
