I went in around 3pm dec 15th and ordered a wrap at the kiosk as I am an introverted person and wasn’t trying to bother the employee as much. But when I was ordering at the screen, the employee (friendly guy with glasses) working at the cash still greeted me with a warm welcome when he did not have to. And he proceeded to woth every other customer that walked in after me. I come back to this location over and over again not only because the food is always great, but the staff is amazing as well. This Shelby is what all businesses should aspire to be like, consistently good food, clean environment, and employees who care for customers. Id rate 11/10 if I could 😋

I tried the shawarma wrap here, and it was incredible! The meat was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, while the veggies were fresh and crunchy. The sauce brought everything together beautifully. The wrap was generous in size and packed with flavor. Service was quick, and the staff were friendly. Definitely coming back for more! Highly recommend. NS

Great shawarma for great prices! This restaurant definitely has lots of personality, and you can feel it when you walk in. I only wish they had enough space to accompany a dining area, but nonetheless it was a great experience! We ordered through iPads which was very convenient and straight forward. We ordered a bowl and a legendary wrap, and we waited an average time for our order. The shawarma tasted fresh and so good!! They also provided wet tissues which was very thoughtful. Would definitely come again to try more items!

Definitely deserves five star review. Service was fast and food was hot and tasty. After our meal was over, the owner came over to talk to us which was a great experience. Extremely nice and humble guy. The food at Shelby’s tastes unique, and this location was extremely diligent and hygienic. It’s close to McMaster which is great and the proportions are consistent. The meat and even the vegetables were fresh! Definitely going there again! Best food near Mac Campus by far, especially shawarma!

I have to say that I am very disappointed, yesterday October 10th at night I invited a friend to eat, I know Shelbys (the Upper James location) and I go very often and I have always had very good experiences, good service, good food, good atmosphere but I can not let what happened to us last night go, the 2 Shelbys that we ordered hardly came with protein (the meat) and well I was surprised because apart from inviting my friend and telling her wonders about the restaurant, obviously she didn't think it was that great nor did I, I must say that from the meat, the potatoes, the rice, everything is very, very little and Shelbys is not like that, pay attention to this because if you are just starting in this location and you are being stingy, that is not right and you also have the same prices. Please more respect for the customer. Thank you.
