Shelby's Legendary Shawarma - Hamilton

I’ve lived in Hamilton for 2 years and never tried this place, and boy have I been missing out. I got the mixed meat option which was chicken, lamb, and beef and it was delicious. I personally preferred the lamb/beef. The spicy garlic and hot sauce are so good! I got my food pretty fast (I used the tablets). The workers were also friendly and welcoming :) would definitely go again! Also, the place was super clean!

Tried there burrito it was fulfilling and was more than enough for single serving. The taste was okish as I found it bland whereas they told me it was spicy. Overall, the place is well maintained the staff is corporative and it was a pleasant experience

The meat was grilled with plastic wrap still on it for 10 minutes, The plastic would have easily melted into the meat. There was utter mismanagement on Shawarma Day. The sign indicated a wait time of about 50 minutes, but I ended up waiting for over an hour and a half without receiving the food I ordered. There is no option for lamb only; they only offer a mix of lamb and beef, which is cooked right next to the chicken on the same grill. Overall, it was a very bad experience, and I do not plan to visit again.

I've raved about Shelby's since they open and have been a regular customer. The bread is made fresh to order and delicious. It's a chain but the quality was fantastic. Unfortunately it has gone downhill in the last few months. Slow service and small portion sizes. My last visit I recieved the smaller of the 2 bowls despite paying for the larger one. I reached out via email and did not hear back. My most recent visit I ordered a legendary traditional wrap and was extremely disappointed in the portion size. Shelby's has never been the value option, it was the quality that made the difference, but this size is unacceptable for the price. The meat is not as fresh as it was either. I will no longer recommend Shelby's to my friends and family.

Came down for a dinner at this Shelby’s location, the food was pretty good but definitely did feel like we were eating at a chain restaurant. The portion size was doable, it got the job done - I opted for the chicken plate which maybe could have had a bit more chicken. I’m a huge fan of the sauces and hummus however, both elevate the plate to another level

I DEFINITELY REGRET WITH THIS PLACE. I regretted as I have been in Hamilton for more than 8 months and I didn’t tried it earlier. Definitely recommend this place and I will continue to visit it in future. Funny part😂: There bill actually consists an agreement that one should not use ketchup on there food. FULL POINTS FOR THE MARKETING
