After the success that ALZAEEM Shawarma faced in Mississauga, we are glad to start another location in Burlington Ontario to ease the distance on our customers and offer the original taste of Chicken & Meat Shawarma, Fatayer, and Sfeeha (Meat and Cheese pies) to all residents in Burlington and surrounding towns.

We thought to give this place a try yesterday as we were driving to Niagara Falls, and it was very close to the QEW. We ordered the chicken shawarma family platter. I know the family platter comes with 4 shawarmas, but as for other items that usually come on the platter, we felt like the portion size was small. The family platters that we have tried on a few other shawarma places in the GTA come loaded with items, so in comparison, this was a bit disappointing and didn't feel like a value for money. On the positive side, the flavor of their shawarma was nice. The service was a bit rushed, and it felt like everyone was in a hurry. The atmosphere was super cool, and the seating area and ambiance were great. Though flavor was nice, overall, an average experience, and I guess this will not be one of our go-to places in the future.

Burlingtons ONLY Authentic style Shawarma spot. Pros: 👍🏻 -Authentic style shawarma, and Saj 🙌🏼 - Kitchen seems clean -Made with fresh chicken (not picked out of a tin) -Very friendly staff -Fresh bread made daily Cons: 👎🏼 - Location is not the best, they would be better off moving to a newer development instead of being tucked away in a dingy plaza overshadowed by the mall. - not really a con but I wish the toum garlic paste was a little stronger 😋 Super happy that there is atleast 1 place you can pop into for a good authentic Arabic style Saj

Excellent quality of food, polite and friendly staff, and a clean place. Tried the beef saj wrap, lintels soup, and the baklava. Highly recommend it.

One of the best shawarmas in Canada, in my opinion, and I’ve had shawarmas at well known restaurants from Quebec to BC and every province in between. As soon as you take the first bite you would know right away that it is far better than the rest. It is the same for their main location in Mississauga. As for this location specifically, the restaurant is very clean and has great atmosphere. The staff is efficient and very friendly. The prices are more than reasonable. Highly recommended.

Review update: The team reached out to me regarding the issue, and replaced my order with another delicious poutine, and this time it was massive quantity. Thank you for this kind of amazing service. Ordered large poutine through Ubereats. Came almost half box filled only. Disappointed with the quantity. I’ve been there before never had any complaints regarding the quantity. Don’t know what went wrong this time. But as usual taste was amazing.

It is one of the best shawarma places in Ontario. I have ordered the family meal multiple times. It is a great family meal for a group of 4 or 5 people. Their garlic is very good! It has a great texture and taste. I visited the place and tried a spicy chicken shawarma rap in saj bread. It was very good. Maybe next time, I will ask them to add more vegetables. Highly recommend.

The food was absolutely delicious—hands down, some of the best shawarma I've ever had. The flavors were authentic, and you could tell everything was made with care. The service was equally impressive. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with an authentic vibe that made the experience even more enjoyable. What really stood out to me was their commitment to the community. They offer free food to those who can’t afford it, which speaks volumes about their values. It's rare to find a place that not only serves amazing food but also gives back in such a meaningful way. Shawarma Alzaeem is more than just a restaurant—it's a place that truly cares. I can't recommend it enough!
