I am somewhat of an eggs benny expert and this was a phenomenal eggs benny! The hollandaise was fresh and made in house, the salad was fresh, crunchy greens, and the side fries were perfectly cooked and seasoned. We stopped in for bunch during our trip to Ontario (we are Nova Scotians) and we will definitely make the trip back to enjoy Saving Thyme again!

The best breakfast spot I’ve ever tried! The macarons were absolutely divine, especially with the passion fruit filling. And the flat white was perfect—just the right balance, truly capturing the essence of a real flat white. I’ve tried many places, but this was the real deal. Highly recommend!

A bit pricey but very cute and yummy! Worth the wait to get a table. Menu and order/ pay from phone option was fantastic - everything on the menu had a picture and you could customize.

Go get an almond croissant and thank me later. Seriously the best I have ever had. There was a lineup for dine in, which speaks to the popularity. Will definitely return to try more.

The lemon tart was so delicate! Love the lemon custard, very rice in flavour. The onion soup is the best I have had so far, rich without being too salty. The gluten friendly breakfast is a nice option to balance out the other items.

Saving Thyme offers an exceptional dining experience with a wide array of delicious food and pastries. Their breakfast menu stands out, especially the perfectly poached eggs, which are consistently cooked to perfection. The attention to detail extends to their accommodating menu, offering a variety of substitutions to cater to dietary preferences and restrictions. One of the highlights is their croissants—flaky, buttery, and just the right balance of sweetness. Unlike some overly sugary pastries, the croissants here allow the quality of the ingredients to shine through.

A super charming, bright & welcoming spot in Burlington for brunch! This place does get busy around peek times, even weekdays, so best to go a little before to guarantee a table (they do not take reservations and have only 15 tables). I ordered the eggs benny (with bacon), the portions are quite large with a good amount of hollandaise sauce (always on the look out for that). Comes with fries & a salad, definitely enough food to make you feel full. Only issue was the side fruit we ordered which was $8 and was definitely NOT worth the price especially with quantity of fruit. However, the food is flavourful & satisfying. The highlight is undoubtedly the sweet selection. They have many different options - ordered the smores éclair & raspberry passionfruit macaroon cake...heaven. Sweet tooth paradise. Items sell out quickly, so be sure not to leave them to the last minute! Overall, a charming spot for a leisurely brunch (service was a tad slow). Good portions, ambiance & sweets to make it worthwhile. Would go back again!

We ended up for brunch the other day. The food was decent. Loved the chicken vol au vent. The creme brulee stack cake was underwhelming as it was just plain sweet. Such scrumptious pastries. We had the leek croissant which was good. Also enjoyed the scone. And the dulce de leche petit choux had a nice crackle although it was so overfilled that it weighed the texture down a bit. Still really good.
