Sakada Sushi Teriyaki Restaurant

They change prices every time when they want. It use to be $5.00 lunch special between 12 pm to 3:00 pm and went up to 7.50 and then went up to 8.00 and last week week 9.00. Today they are charging 9.50. This is gouging. He is so rude too with him customer. Let’s patronize other business in the area. Use to be good but not now

Great prices on decent food. It doesn't try to be some crazy luxury restaurant, it's quick, easy, and consistently good. It's everything it needs to be and I love that. I've been coming here for 10 years now and it's still one of my favourites.

Great experience with family dinning in. Very chill family restaurant. Nice owners, friendly service. Food was inexpensive in comparison to fancier restaurants. Great experience and will definitely go back with family.

Subpar food. The maki is mostly rice, any crab meat inside the maki is only half of surimi stick. Sushi rice lacks seasoning. Salmon teriyaki was overcooked and very thin. Sashimi is poorly cut and fish has no flavour, most pieces are dry as if they’ve been unwrapped and exposed to air for too long. Asked for no octopus or ahi tuna restaurant could not accommodate and did not inform. Gyoza over fried, filling for Gyoza & springroll leaves more to be desired - they have white vinegar as Gyoza dipping sauce (what??!!). Tempura batter was not crispy, just hard and crusty. No love was put into this food. Would not order or dine here again.

Great sushi for a VERY reasonable price. I would say that the specials and combos are some of the best deals I've seen in any sushi restaurant in a long time. I had the Salmon Teriyaki & Tempura dinner bento which included Salmon Sashimi, California rolls & Spring rolls and a Wakame (seaweed) salad and everything was very good. Other than the salad dressing missing something (sesame comes to mind) this place is a new favorite of my 8 year old and myself. John is very accommodating, friendly and extremely polite and professional. I really appreciate that in the staff of any establishment. Update I have also now had the Gyoza, BBQ Eel and Deep fried squid and all were extremely delicious. The squid was perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The BBQ Eel is my favorite of the places I've tried as well. I'm quite sure that soon enough I will have eaten most of the menu, I'm actually thinking of heading there for dinner today!

We can only say great things about this place! The owner was really nice and knowledgeable about the menu. Nice atmosphere. The only thing that got me was that they don’t have an avocado and sweet potato roll!😭 This was my first time here and we wanted to try some new options. The pickled radish, mango island, and and white maki roll were new to me but we loved all of them! Our favourite one out of them was the pickled radish roll. It has a sweet tangy taste that we love. When we were about to order from them I was looking on here for a menu and when I went inside I noticed they have changed their prices. So I attached some pictures of the menu below as well.

A good place to have a meal or their AYCE menu option. Everything is served well and not too delayed. They have a great policy of serving you additional stuff only once you finish your already ordered stuff to ensure patrons dont waste food. Gets pretty packed once lunch hour is approaching for school children to grab their lunches. A nice place to enjoy a good Japanese meal for less. Staff is good and very understanding.
