I can't review the foods or refreshments because the servers were too busy chatting it up with the extremely drunk bar-hooker, that was table surfing the drunken men, for free drinks. After, waiting 30 minutes and unsuccessfully trying to get the attention of the servers, I left.

So happy that I gave riverbank a try! The poutine was great! The wings also. aswell were the deep fried pickles. Dan was a great host. Highly recommend giving it a try.

I ordered food for takeout Friday night. The bartender that took my order/cashed me out was a delight. I was a little surprised by the bar itself. I expected it to be a bit run-down (just judging by the outside of the tavern) but it was actually very clean and had a very cozy atmosphere. Food was great: I had the Buffalo grilled chicken wrap with a poutine (the gravy was a really nice dark gravy, very tasty but maybe a bit too thick), as well as the Mac and cheese. It came with buffalo chicken, not sure if that’s how it’s supposed to be done as it’s not specified in the menu, but it was delicious nonetheless. Will definitely have to dine-in one night and play some pool!

I went there a couple of times since my first time there a week ago, so already that should tell you what I think of the quality. Everything I tried here taste amazing and the service is really good, and if I were to compare to the previous business that was here, the food wasn't that bad but it's a massive improvement, so much so that I believe these are the best burgers I've ever had, I've also tried the mac and cheese and while I usually don't care much for mac and cheese, it tasted amazing as well. So definitely give this a shot if you haven't yet

The customer service was surprisingly beyond expectations. I ordered a Budweiser but the bottle had a chip but they instantly replaced the bottle despite me telling them it wasn't necessary. They often both speak and act on customer service being their one of their prides. I've visited a few bars in Welland but the bar that let's me both feel comfortable but relaxed. Recently I've met people who've been here for the first or second time with today being my fourth time here but they all love it. They say the people are the best and I cannot dispute. The crowd and staff are both kind,cool, and will always help you if there's a problem

The Riverbank Tavern is a fantastic spot for those looking for a laid-back atmosphere combined with excellent drinks and great food options. The "Just Peachy” cocktail is particularly refreshing, and the local beer taps are a nice touch for beer enthusiasts. Foodwise, Riverbank delivers with hearty pub classics. The Riverbank “Smash Burger”, a juicy smashed patty with all the fixings on that toasted bun is definitely a standout. Service is attentive and friendly, adding to the relaxed vibe of the place. Overall, The Riverbank Tavern is a great destination for a casual meal or a night out with friends, offering a pleasant mix of good food, great drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere.

This spot is central in Welland, and the chefs here are the real deal. It’s great seeing such good restaurants pop up in Welland. I’ll be back again, and often.

Been going to this place before new owners, the spot always had cheap drink prices, pool, a juke box, and was open late which is awesome. However, the new owners definitely gave the spot a well-needed glow up. Ordered the jerk chicken tacos, they were tasty. We met one of the owners/chef and he was very sweet - checking to see how we liked the food, had shots, etc. Service was great, our server Gillian is always amazing. We will be back! Kudos to the new owners, you got a good thing going here!
