Restaurant at Regency Athletic Resort

Never have I ever been treated so rudely by the owner of an establishment! My husband and I have supported this place for many years. We have been involved in the volleyball and more recently pickle ball leagues over a span of at least 10 years and have ALWAYS supported the restaurant there weekly during the sport seasons. Tonight we asked about a coupons validity which was purchased pre-Covid. One of the owners pretended to rip up the coupon telling us it was garbage. When we explained we had paid cash for it… he rudely said “it’s worthless” and began judging us saying “you people go around to places with your coupons ! I told him he didn’t need to be rude we were simply enquiring if we could use it or not. After referring to me as “baby” I told him to get lost and then he started video taping me while still loudly barrating us for trying to use a coupon. He was very aggressive and extremely rude!! PLEASE don’t support this establishment! They clearly do not appreciate their supporters!

Decent place for bar food and drinks, they have decent chicken wings and wontons. The place gets busy when they have live music. Check out a band and grab a cold one! Place is great in the summer, Friday nights live bands and drop in volleyball for $8, it’s a great venue.

We went for supper and to listen to a band last Saturday. The servers were so friendly! We ordered our dinner at 6:00 and at 8:30 we left without eating! Something about them being overbooked? We will never go back!!

MANAGEMENT, THIS IS YOUR FAULT!!!! your poor reviews make sense and I wish I had of read these prior to going. First, we arrived and were seated with menus. My husband ordered our drinks, a pint of beer and a smirnoff ice. There were 3 people at the bar, there was 1 bartender and 1 server and us 2. After 20 minutes of watching both bartender and server converse with the 3, and then, watching our server head outside for a break, I approached the bartender and asked if we could order from her. She took our order, 2 orders of Buffalo butter wings and 2 orders of cajun wings and 1 order of wontons. After we ordered from bartender, our server then approaches, and acts like its perfectly normal to make the only 2 people there wait 25 mins to order food....an empty restaurant!! Minutes later he came out carring a pail of wontons and dipping sauce. We get food, BUT NO PLATES OR NAPKINS!! Our drinks are pretty much gone, waiting now to see if anyone asks us if we need a refill...never happened. Not once. The cajun wings come out, there's NO cajun spice on these wings, they're plain. The Buffalo wings come out and even the server had no idea what kind of wings they were, but we all agreed it wasn't Buffalo. 4 servings of wings, a pail of wontons...in a restaurant, and still no plates or napkins given to us??!! We went to Chip n Charlie's to get another drink. THAT experience cost us $100. Bring your own plates, napkins and booze if you eat here.

Niagara best kept secret for great tasting pub food.Mindi our server took our order with a friendly style and brought everything perfect.The restaurant is under new management and is doing a great job..we will return.

Stopped in june 8th around 745pm. Me and my team play softball at this resort, so we figured we would try out the restaurant. After we sat down, we had a big table around 12-14 people, so wait times were expected, and we ddnt have a problem with it. After ordering our drinks, we had to ask 4+ times for menus, just to end up going to the bar to get them ourselves. Eventually when our server came back to take our order, i ordered a large pizza and a side of deep fried pickles. After about 20 mins food started to come out. I got my side but no pizza. Fast forward another hour and a bit, i still had not gotten my pizza, and another customer ddnt get a SIDE OF FRIES that she ordered. Apparently they both got "lost" when taking all the orders. Completely ridiculous. AND after all that, the bills came with a *AUTOMATIC* Loaded 18%tip loaded into the bill (which is ridiculously more then our server deserved) which they ddnt tell us about, so she ended getting 25-35% tips from everybody because they failed to mention it. To say this was my absolute worst restaurant experience ever would be an understatment. Its a shame because the atmosphere of the place was great otherwise.

On Sat may 29th 5:10 pm, I stopped in to give this place a try. I was hoping for dinner but the two female waitresses/barmaids would not acknowledge my presence and were more concerned with chatting to each other. I patiently waited for 20 minutes thinking maybe it was shift change. They could see me sitted at a table but ignored me. I decided that l was not going to waste any of my time and went to another restaurant.

Wow! Terrible, terrible nachos!! I ordered nachos, which cost $17 for one serving. The nachos DID NOT come with any protein. If you wanted protein, it costs an extra $5! Let me tell you how the nachos came to our table.. Brace yourself! The nice waitress brought a plate full of warm nachos (the whole bag of nachos) with only a very small portion of melted cheese, onions and peppers, which only covered a small portion of the plate, ratio 10:1. Btw, the nachos tasted like "sawdust"!.. Overall, very bad first experience! They only get one star when in actuality, The Regency does not deserve any stars!
