Pita Pit is a new restaurant in Lake Simcoe opened more than 6 months ago.
With more than 20 pita fillings & 40 toppings to pick from, Pita Pit offers you millions of flavour combinations. Pita Pit was at the forefront of the growing “fresh and healthy” eating revolution, when we opened the first Pita Pit in Kingston, Ontario near Queen’s University back in 1995. Pita Pit delivered what students, families and young professionals wanted but couldn’t find nearby; an affordable yet great-tasting fresh and healthy alternative to high-fat and high-carb fast food.

Everything was good with this order. The young gentleman that served me did an awesome job. This was a couple weeks ago and I apologize for not reviewing immediately. Thank you!

Went here on the way to the cottage. Wasn't planning on getting anything but was convinced otherwise. BOY was that a good choice, this pita brightened my day and made the rest of the drive go by in a flash. Will certainly return in the future to indulge in another delicious pita. Congratulations to all employees for doing such a great job. I hope everyone gets to experience great service like this at some point in their lives.

Did not enjoy having to shout my choice of toppings at the plexiglass, even more difficult when there’s another customer beside you trying to do the same. Their regular size wrap is the same size as the small wrap at other Pita Pit locations, they REALLY skimp on the toppings here. I will not be returning, $13 for a snack-size pita?

Was quite happy to see what seemed to be the manager come out of her office to help when the line became larger. However I was not happy to see her lick both thumbs as she proceeded to pull 2 gloves out of the box and put them on. As someone who has been in the food service industry her whole life, i was floored. My colleagues and I quickly decided to go elsewhere for lunch. A health and safety refresher about and washing and wearing gloves seems much needed at this location. Hands should be washed before doning gloves at all times and you should never touch your face/mouth with clean hands or gloved hands.

Woman with short hair and glasses was beyond rude. I was waiting with one man in line and she refused to serve me saying after him they were closing. There wasn’t a line behind me. If there was a line I could understand her having to cut off the line, but it was just me. They could have just made us both a pita. I asked if they could just make one more for me and she refused only serving the man. I was also there an hour and a half before closing. I told her this but she didn’t care. Horrible woman, horrible service.

Extremely expensive. Nearly $14 for a very small pita and a pop. This was much smaller than the same meal at Bracebridge. Worse yet, there was no real place to sit. The few tables in the service area are not there - at least none with seats. There used to be a nice seating area overlooking the scenery. The janitor had closed this off because he wanted to get his mopping done while there were still customers coming in. Looks like this operation is on its last legs. Less food, less service, and no seating is not going to keep customers coming in.
