Whoa..Phoenicia Express is excellent. I had tried this little place several years ago and it was good but I hadn't ever went back. Today I stopped in to grab lunch with a coworker. He ordered a chicken shawarma wrap and I went with the chicken and rice dish. The staff/owner are some of the friendliest folks I've encountered in a restaurant. The chicken and rice plate was excellent. The rice and chicken were hot and fresh. The flavours of the pickled items, hot and garlic sauces really stand out. I think I've found my new go-to for work lunches. Thanks for a top tier experience!

Best shawarma in Hamilton hands down! The fact that it's in a gas station may be a bit off-putting for some, but I promise it's worth it! Staff are always super nice, and it's family-run so you'll often see the same people (which is great if you're a regular!) Definitely a must try if you like shawarma!

Mann! This place is more than just stopping by to get gas. The food corner in there is the best ever. Owner and staff are super respectful, kind and easy going. Each time I stop by to fill up my tank I will also buy food there to take with me, and always the service is better and top notch. All my family and friends i introduced to this place have also had the same beautiful and great experience. In my opinion this is how it should be when you deal with customers. I will always come back here guys; and also thank you for a few free extras I got you didn’t charge me for. 10/10 for me. 👍🏾

I stumbled across this hidden gem 10 yrs ago. The food is fantastic. I've never been disappointed. My friend and I picked up dinner there last night. Whenever I suggest the place to someone new, they always have the same reaction...in a gas station? Once they get there they see how spotless the kitchen is, how friendly the staff is and how big the portions are. I always get the big chicken salad with pita on the side. That the key! Their chicken shish tawook is so tasty and last night I tried their veggie plate. It was massive. The falafel wasn't my favourite but everything else was awesome. I would ask for extra cauliflower next time instead. I'm having the leftovers for breakfast. I can't think of a nicer way to start my birthday. Cheers, Renée

I recently visited this shawarma restaurant and unfortunately had a negative experience. While the meat was cooked well and had good flavor, the vegetables in my shawarma were over-grilled to the point where they were mushy and unappetizing. The texture of the vegetables really affected the overall taste and enjoyment of the meal. It's disappointing when one component of a dish can bring down the entire experience. I was disappointed with my experience at this shawarma restaurant and would hesitate to return.

The food here is great and the service is good as well. We tried this out for the first time today and we were impressed. We had the shawarma plate as well as the falafel and would happily order them again. We ordered pickup by calling them direct and got transferred - I assumed from the gas station counter to the kitchen. The food was ready in less than ten minutes. I had to pick it up from the kitchen and take it across to the gas station counter to pay.
