Pho Black Bull

I decided to try this pho place for the first time and I was blown away. The pho broth was delicious and the beef is so soft it just melts in your mouth. And the spring rolls are amazing!! Will definitely be coming back.

I visited this restaurant based on its good Google reviews but was quite disappointed. The pho broth was not hot enough, so the raw beef remained undercooked even toward the end of the meal, which was unpleasant. The tendon was overly tough, and I couldn’t finish it. On the positive side, the spring rolls were ok and the atmosphere was clean and tidy. The highlight of the meal was the tea, which had a nice vanilla aroma and a nutty flavor. Service was very slow.

Great place for a bowl of Pho, especially for such a cold day. The noodle is thick and smooth, broth is soothing 😋! The only downside is the service, they put too little vegetables for the Pho. I love my broth to be more aromatic so a lack of those reduces my rating. Great that we could ask for more, but even then, it wouldn't waste so much of the customer time if they put more at first. Will come back for more. Food is 5/5.

Every thing is for 5 stars!! Beautifully decorated interior, very organized and clean( washroom is included) Friendly staff and owner~ Starting with complimentary nice hot jasmine tea~ Various sauce options ( love “ garlic and chili vinegar pickles) We ordered two items *Hotpot special pho( rib, rare beef slices on the side, tendons, flanks, Vietnamese herbs, lime and bean sprouts): broth is amazingly flavorful and nothing overpowering which is perfectly balanced!!—-> we ended up taking all of the broth not even one drop left lol!!! * grilled chicken with sugarcane shrimp vermicelli ( grilled chicken, salad, shrimp cane sugar, and fish sauce on the side): good portion of meat and itself!! Every ingredient tastes fresh and flavorful as well! Fun chewing and tasting the sugarcane with shrimp ~~ If someone thinks it is a bit pricier than other Vietnamese restaurant, u should consider more that there are quality of ingredients and results of cooking in this restaurant! Top of that, it is beautiful setting for relaxing and fine dinning!!! Full package there! Strongly recommended this restaurant!

2nd time here; the food has not disappointed! I always order the pork with vermicelli. The pork is tasty, cut thinly so its easy to chew. The fish sauce is delicious, adds a nice balance to the rest of the items in the bowl such as carrots, cucumber, lettuce, and noodles! The rice rolls are also pleasant. They are best eaten warm so dont wait till the end of your meal to eat them! They are also generous with the sauce which is nice. The restaurant is clean, the service is good! I recommend everyone to eat here!

Had lunch here after a long drive and as usual when I come to any pho restaurant, I always order Bún Bò Huê. This one’s almost like most of them. Vermicelli, Spicy Beef broth, Sliced Meatballs, Sliced Ham balls, Green Onions, and Tender Shank beef, served with Bean Sprouts, Lime, Mint, and that Purple/Brown thing on the side. I kinda missed it when the broth was boiling hot when served. Nowadays, every pho place serves Bún Bò Huê at a warm temperature level. Aside from the main course, water that came with it kinda had this cracker after taste. Maybe it’s like that in Canada or this was the restaurant’s unique style of water because everyone had the same kind of water based on my observation. Also, the pen provided to write my order was quite scratchy on my order paper slip but it wasn’t a big deal. Alternatively, other items I’ve ordered that are surprisingly delicious are the pork chops and the black coffee. Pork chops were tender and the black coffee was sweeter than I expected. Overall, Pho Black Bulls is a great Vietnamese restaurant In Mississauga, but I’ve had better ones in the United States.
