I have been coming here for many years now, and the food is always delicious. One of the few Vietnamese restaurants that serves beef tendon pho. I had number 51 I believe, and it was delicious. The broth is rich and flavourful. The service is very quick, and friendly. Cash discount 10%

After shopping at Markville Mall, we were craving pho. Pho 99 came up on the Google search and was the nearest Vietnamese restaurant from the mall. We ordered the shrimp spring rolls, rare beef, brisket, beef balls pho, and the Satay beef pho. The Satay beef was more spicy than anticipated but was delicious. The beef Pho was good but the broth could use a little more salt or seasoning.

I go to Pho 99 for a quick pho craving fix which is usually one to two times a week. It's run by a hard working family and you can expect minimal service. The pho presentation is a notch above average and as is the broth. It's by no means the best I've had (and I've had a lot) but well flavoured and good enough to keep me coming back for my quick pho fixes. At the table, you'll find menus, an ordering paper with pen, a full stack of utensils including sauce dishes and sauces (sriracha (not Huy Fong unfortunately), hoisin, and garlic chili sauce), and napkins. 3 stars + 1 for consistency and respect for the hard working family.

3.5/5 stars. Small mom and pop shop. You can tell that they really need the help with shortage of staff. The employees there are not trained properly. Pro: - the food is okay. Soup base just needed a bit more flavor. Good part is that they have all the toppings right there on the table - decent pricing. The house special large was $12. I think their portion is bigger than the other places Improvements: - when they bring out the bowls, the put the tray on other customers tables and puts one bowl at a time onto the correct table. I suggest using a cart? - the staff are just a bit clueless. When we asked the guy a question, he doesnt seem to understand Overall, I will come back. Hopefully they are able to find some more staff soon.

After experiencing a reopening for dine-in at another pho place we usually go to where they started using plastic throw away bowls and tiny kid size spoons and wooden take out chopsticks.. Not to mention the cheap tiny premade hot & hoisin sauce we had enough and started visiting pho99 again.. Wow do I miss these big bowls... You know there's a science to Porcelain Pho bowls.. They are used to keep the broth and noodles hot till the very last bite. The big spoons and chopsticks are used so you can actually get a mouthful of both broth and noodles together. The meat portions on the order are also very good here where other places have seem to get worse over covid.. Tea still comes out in a teapot and your own cup 👏 I have definitely been coming back for the Pho.. 5 out of 5 stars for the experience that just for that time spent eating. Makes you forget about the time we live in and all this covid junk 🙏👍

Great tasting pho and rice. Items on the menu are very well priced. Presentation of the food when it arrived looked great. Gave plenty of hot sauce and hoisin sauce. Vegetables the food came with were very fresh and clean. I’m surprised they gave so much chicken and pork for the rice dish, which is great. My first time ordering here and for sure won’t be my last. Tried many pho places before and this place is for sure one of the best.

Went with a friend. We ordered 2 Vietnamese coffees. Delicious! I had the grilled pork chop on rice with pan fried egg. And my friend hadgrilled chicken with spring roll on vermacelli. Good food at a great price. Would definitely return.

An average pho joint that is neither impressive nor repulsive. Service is good and fast. The raw beef is not raw. The only thing that really stands out here is the vermicelli with grilled chicken - great savory flavour and generous size. Pho is average at best.
