By far the best hot pot. Really high quality ingredients and flavourful soups to cook in. Service is really great, staff was patient explaining everything on our first visit. They came often to also skim the fat from the top of the soup. Refilled water without asking. Checked in often. All the activity makes it a fun experience overall. I tried the secret code to get the free magic wand so I can play sailor moon at home. The face mask show was interesting and the dancing noodle was a cool table side experience.

Great spot with somewhat limited parking if you come during busy hours. Service is, as usual for Haidilao, 5 stars and very very good. Food is always fresh, and the sauce bar is always stocked and both the restaurant & restrooms are clean. It could be a bit expensive if you do the whole enchilada including alcohol but well worth the expense if you're celebrating. Always make a reservation ahead of time and your wait time will be short.

We had high expectations walking into this Haidilao location given our friends have been here once before and spoke highly of the service and the fun experience they had with the famous Haidilao codes. We drove all the way from Elora to Markham expecting a similar fun experience and received awful service. The server had a very hostile attitude and was quite unfriendly. We had memorized a few codes and was eager to try them out. But when we mentioned a code we were immediately put down. Even though we wanted to celebrate our friend’s birthday we didn’t have the right ambience anymore. The table was never cleared and we had a good number of utensils all over. Overall, we ended up having an unpleasant and uncomfortable ambiance and wanted to get out as soon as possible.

It was my first time at Haidilao and we were celebrating birthdays as well as our office’s holiday dinner. The experience was perfect. We walked in to a cute and beautifully decorated table. Our servers, Navin and Jenny, were very friendly and attentive. We got fruits and dessert while waiting for everyone. They even gave us hair ties! We got the tomato and pork bone broth. Both very flavourful. The meat was freshly sliced. You must try the AAA sirloin beef. The seafood platter was great too. Lots of selections to choose from. The noodle dance and mask changing dance were entertaining! At the end, there were a selection of desserts and also ice cream cups! Of course, we also said some secret codes for freebies 😁. Overall, I would definitely come back to Haidilao Markham again and would highly recommend it!

Celebrated my husband’s birthday at here. They got a new setup for birthday song. Everything is perfect. Food is tasty as always. Our server Jeff and Kelvin are very friendly and provided excellent service. I would always consider Haidilao to celebrate important dates.

Took my wife here for her birthday along with some of my family members and it was the first time for a few of us at a Hot pot restaurant so this was certainly an experience! Watching one of the staff spin and throw around the dough to prepare the noodles was different but exciting to watch. The selection of proteins was vast and we ended up picking 4 kinds of soups, the Tom yum was by far the tastiest in our opinion. We chose a beef, lamb, a few kinds of seafood (including a platter), pork and chicken so we had a good variety to try with the soups. Everything was very fresh and flavourful. Definitely be careful on the first spoon as it's very hot but I was too excited so I got into a little too fast. Great food, staff and overall experience. Would definitely come back here again!

Had an amazing experience at Haidilao! From the moment we walked in, the service was impeccable. Eason and Eva, our attendants, went above and beyond to make sure we had the best dining experience. They gave us excellent recommendations on what to order, offered us soup and starter fruit tray. What really touched us was how sincerely they sang the birthday song for me. It wasn't just a quick gesture—it felt heartfelt and truly made the celebration extra special! The whole vibe of the restaurant is fun, lively, and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious, and the attention to every detail made us feel right at home. The service is hands down the best I've experienced. We'll definitely be back for more! Highly recommend!

Amazing experience. The quality of food and services was impeccable. Everyone was very nice and the service is quick. Our waiter Jeff was so observant. He brought out the food and cleaned up the plates quick. Everytime I was low on water he refilled it quickly. We ordered hand pull noodles and someone did a great demonstration throwing around the noodles. He looked like he was having lots of fun and it was very entertaining for me too! I love the jelly bar it was sweet and refreshing.
