Patties Express

I’ve been a loyal customer in the past, but unfortunately, my recent visit was a letdown. The service was poor, with no straws provided and no bag to carry the flimsy boxes, which ended up ripping. On top of that, the quality has noticeably decreased both the patties and fillings are much smaller than they used to be. It’s disappointing to see that the owner seems to be cutting corners, which affects both the customer experience and the overall product. The staff could also benefit from better training in customer service etiquette, as they were extremely rude. I used to buy a couple of boxes to freeze, but after this experience, I won’t be returning. A business thrives on treating its customers with kindness and respect, and I hope the owner learns that lesson. It’s unfortunate, but this will be my last visit.

Empty patties at this place , when I took it to the idiot attending the store (he’s hiding behind the equipment in the 3rd picture) he said all the filling slid down and wouldn’t even bother looking at it so I decided to post a pic here , maybe he’ll look now - seriously it’s not even about the money .. it’s amazing how some people refuse to take ownership of anything or care about the customer’s experience

I had a disappointing experience at Patties Express Jamaican Restaurant. While I was looking forward to enjoying some authentic Jamaican food, the poor customer service completely ruined the visit. The staff seemed uninterested and unapproachable, barely acknowledging customers or offering any assistance. When I asked questions about the menu, I was met with curt responses and an attitude that made me feel unwelcome. The wait time was excessive, and there was no effort to update or apologize for the delay. Even after finally receiving my order, the lack of basic courtesy—like a simple “thank you”—was noticeable. Good food alone isn’t enough if the service makes you feel like you’re not valued as a customer. I won’t be returning, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience.

Very delicious patties I’ve been going to patties express for a long time but gosh darn last time I purchased patties from them, they gave me patties filled with molten lava. The roof of my mouth is currently burnt and my poor mother burnt her face. If you’re serving food that hot, YOU HAVE AN OBLIGATION TO WARN YOUR CUSTOMERS. SMH do better patties express @ upper Canada mall

We will not return to this store in the future. It used to be great. If you do decide to go, make sure you BYOF - Bring your own filling. After the first bite, you can swiftly insert your own filling in the pouch and enjoy their well made patty dough. $15 for 6 veggie patties with 20% filling. Spend your $15 somewhere else at the mall.

When they first opened, I really liked their patties. Filling was delicious and moist. Recently it seems they have really cut back and cut costs. There is literally no filling and all breading. Pretty unfortunate because Id gladly pay more for a patty done right

Lets start with I hate Patty King patties. I like Tinnels and Goerges patties. At first I loved this place after going twice purchasing two patties to eat right away. Every bite was filled with meat filling. This time was different. I waited in line to get 6 patties. I was maybe 8 customers back and yeah there was only one guy working the counter but it took 20 minutes? I dont mind waiting for goodness and quality but today was going to be different. I opened my patties at home to stuff them with lettuce cheese and mayo. Blasphemous to my Jamaican friends lol. Well, sadly I see they have cheapened out as I was hoping wouldn't be the case.. The amount of meat inside was so little for 2 bucks a pattie pretty much? Gimmie a break guys. You charge like double and you are chincing out on us??? I don't know if they are boxing the patties with less filled patties and giving filled ones for people who will be eating it right then and there but I'm hoping this is a bad run of patties this one time. I will try one more time and compare but for today not happy. See images two different patties same day. Chiiiiincy
