Baked pork chop on spaghetti. The pork chop is deep fried and wrapped with super thick coating, the meat was not marinated well as well, super disappointed. The milk tea was good, egg tart is cold as it’s refrigerated.

Lots of hongkongers frequent this place and it feels very authentic. The milk tea has intense flavour. The food is very good value for money, they don’t take tips either! Credit cards accepted at a small fee. Will come back again and explore more local dishes.

Fantastic experience!! I had to write a review. The ham and egg bun was genuinely one of the best I have ever had!! We also especially enjoyed the fried chicken thigh and rice, the curry rice and the macaroni in soup with ham (not pictured). Great value considering the included hk milk tea. The baked rice was solid, we just accidentally ordered rice instead of spaghetti. Also really nice atmosphere and decor.

Any bakery tempts us. This was no exemption. Menu seemed quiet large but not much tempted me so I ordered an omelette and could not believe how expensive it was considering the size and what came with it. The place looked pretty run down and what put me off the most in the restaurant they were gathering their garbage to throw out in the restaurant near the door where you enter and exit and whatever they use for cleaning the restaurant and tables reeks through and esp when you are dining you donot want that disinfectant smell. They have to stop this as it’s the most unpleasant thing of throwing your garbage where the bins are kept and this smell of the cleaner. No one does gathering of garbage in the restaurant and in front of the diners Honestly the place did not look hygienic at all. The only positive thing the lady serving was pleasant.

Great spot! This Hongkong cafe opens at 8 AM, perfect for an early breakfast. The food came out quickly, hot, and fresh. The prices are reasonable, and the portion sizes are just right. Definitely will be coming back again!

Papa John's Bakery is a Hong Kong style diner, the staff are very lovely people. The food is simple but delicious if you are looking for Asian comfort food. Really enjoyed the pineapple bun with butter, it was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Another favourite was the macaroni in soup with the braised beef brisket. The Hong Kong style milk tea is very good with deep tea flavours.

I had their signature pineapple bun with butter combo. The bun was very fresh and tasted really good with the thick slice of butter. Tea comes with the combo, and I ask for 2 sugar in my tea, but still, for some reason, it doesn't taste like they put in sugar. Also, the tea is not consistent in taste as I went there twice already. The prices reflect cash price and don't seem to be posted that they charge an extra 50c for debit payments. Overall, it was a great place to grab yummy breakfast with a variety of options. Will go back to try other items on the menu.

If you are looking for quality Hong Kong style milk tea, you must come to Papa John as they have the best milk tea in town. Friendly service with a great variety of menus. The bakery is good as usual. Their price is reasonable as cost gets more expensive during the pandemic but you will enjoy what you pay. In recent visits, I found that some famous dishes are no longer the same as before. The satay beef noodle soup was used to have some vegetables, but now is none at all. The soup base is less and mild in comparison with the past. As the soup base is the most important element to maintain the taste of this famous dish, I will have to cut down a star rating. It would be soon to be reinstated. Today, I tried the thick toast with condensed milk and peanut butter. It was awesome that the toast is crunchy outside and soft in the side. It is soooo good.
