Paisley Coffeehouse & Eatery

Horrible Experience ! Came in from out of town to see a movie premiere at the Westdale theatre. We arrived early and it was a very cold evening, so we decided to grab a hot beverage, sit down and warm up while we waited for the theatre to open. We decided on Paisley because it looked empty and quiet, a nice warm place to grab a beverage and chat. So we ordered our beverages, then sat down to drink them and were immediately asked to leave because the business was closed. The staff were irresponsible and you could tell that they very much enjoyed telling us to leave when they should have let us know before selling us the drinks that they were preparing to close for the evening. Or better yet, should have locked the doors prior to closing so no new customers came in. I just walked away leaving my tea and my friend took her coffee but after taking the first sip of her coffee found it was nothing more than watered down coffee so I assumed they didn't have enough coffee left, so just watered down the dregs of the day to fulfill the order. So we went next door to Mikel's where we were warmly welcomed, served hot and tasty beverages and allowed to sit down, enjoy our beverages and chat until our movie. At least we now know why Paisley was completely empty and Mikels was full of people. We know better for next time. Thoroughly disappointed!

I'm willing to bet money everyone in there got begged by their npc friend who listens to nothing but pop music & wears the same things you think of when you picture the average university freshmen to try this place because of how "good" the food is. In reality they were talking about a single menu item on there which is, yep, another mid overpriced mocha latte. it's really just another gentrified lame cafe with no soul. $20.32 for a bland chicken sandwich & a medium drink. $20.32. But of course thats justified because the barista wrote your name on the drink in cute cursive handwriting. Theres also absolutely no reason to be wasting seating space on a rack of random hoodies & tshirts with Paisley branding on them, no ones buying that😭 Atmosphere sucks because it gets loud as **** in there, seating outside is nonexistent. Save your time & money, theres better and more authentic restaurants out there lol

Been here a couple times so far, tried their caramel latte and it was delicious. Unfortunately this time I tried their advertised pumpkin chai cold brew and it was the most vile coffee drink I’ve ever had. Very disappointing from them. Their food is also pretty good but pricy

I was served by such lovely girls today and it was my first time coming here. I had a question about sugar in my drink and had 5 people behind me and they helped me without making me feel rushed to order and pay. <3 my matcha latte was the best I’ve had besides at home!! Cant wait to come back when I want to go to a cafe again.

Absolutely love Paisley’s Coffeehouse! Every visit is a treat—the lattes are amazing, and all the food I’ve tried has been top-notch. The atmosphere is super welcoming, and I love that the patio is dog-friendly. Whether you’re sitting in to enjoy a meal or grabbing something to go, this place is a gem in Hamilton. Highly recommend!

It's a nice cafe with good ambience. What kills the vibe for me is that they give you everything in takeout containers. If you are there for takeout, it's cool. Coffee and toasts are really good. If you are going for nice cafe time, be prepared to have food in a box.

Get the sandwich. The best sandwiches in Hamilton. Edited: Very disappointed. I ordered chicken pesto, which is my usual pick. I see four pieces of chicken total (two small pieces on each side). I understand that inflation is hard, so that’s okay. But where did the pesto sauce go? I asked the staff my sandwich is missing pesto, and she said it is pesto aioli (showing me a white sauce bottle). I know what pesto aioli looks like.

Delicious fresh food and coffee, friendly service and a nice relaxed vibe. I had their BLT bagel on a sour dough bagel and it was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had. Can't wait to come back!
