Ordered Khao Soi, exactly the same in quality and taste as the food they serve in their Toronto location. Highly recommend

An ambitious swing but a disappointing miss. How this grocery store knockoff location justifies using the name PAI, a gem of a restaurant, is truly beyond me. Nothing is even comparable. Flavour is underwhelming to say the least, spice is lacking, and the food simply does not taste fresh overall. I don't often write negative reviews but I figure maybe if I do, it will help this location realize how sorely it needs to step their game up to be worthy of its name. Until then? Overpriced slop.

I was really looking forward to dining here after my experience at the Toronto location, but unfortunately, it was very disappointing. This seems like a watered-down version of what’s served at the original restaurant, yet the prices remain the same. I spent $54 on just two dishes, which felt excessive given the quality. The staff at the location were courteous and accommodating, so this is not a reflection on them. However, it seems they are working with limited options, as most of the dishes only come in mild spice levels. Even with the mild spice, the food was bland and tasted like salt water with some meat. I don’t understand why this concept would compromise on quality—it’s doing a disservice to the brand and the original restaurant's reputation. Overall, a very underwhelming experience.

The Thai Iced Tea is the same price as all the other locations but you get this tiny little shot sized bottle lol

I love the downtown location and was thrilled to see one opened up in our area but I was disappointed. We ordered through UberEat though so I can’t comment on the dine-in quality. The food we got was underwhelming. The mango slaw was only 1/3 of the box and it looked as if someone has taken a huge portion out. The rest of the dishes tasted quite salty. They weren’t nearly as flavourful as what is served as the downtown location. Given this experience, I am not sure if I want to go to the actual food hall for another try.

I’ve eaten at pai downtown and midtown at least 20 times in my life. If that’s what you’re looking for, this restaurant will disappoint you. I ordered the pad Thai through Uber eats and it tastes 60% as flavorful as the classic Pai experience. I was stoked to see it available in my area, but until they figure this out I won’t be ordering again. Surprised to see this level of quality from Toronto’s best Thai restaurant.

PAI is some of the best Thai food you will ever have. I have had the Pad Thai and Khao Soi here, hopefully they do open a full independent restaurant in Vaughan. I do have a recommendation for your curries to provide large enough containers to combine everything in store, would make it much more convenient.

Absolutely delicious food, tastes just like the location downtown! We had the Tom Yum soup, Pad Kra Pow, Green Curry, and Pad Thai and they were all bursting with flavour. Not the cheapest but it's a great treat every now and then. Everything was also ready very quickly! Note that it is inside the Longo's in the new Kitchen Hub Food Hall, not it's own restaurant.
