NISI Greek Taverna Burlington

Awesome Greek food. Went with a group of friends and tried 4 of the appetizers and they were all fantastic. The seafood platter was great as a main to share. Their pita bread was the best I have ever tasted and I couldn’t stop eating it. Would definitely go back!

Went to Nisi recently with some friends and it didn’t disappoint. The patio was spacious & it had a great outdoor vibe. The waitress was kind and helpful in making the experience pleasant. The food itself was 5/5, really fresh greek food that had loads of flavour. The grilled calamari was unreal. Would definitely recommend this place for a nice lunch or dinner out on lakeshore in Burlington!

Right by the lake, the patio was beautiful with a great atmosphere. The food was so good from the apps; calamari, bruschetta. To the main dishes; I got gyro with potato’s and vegetables. The price is very good for all that you get with this place. Highly recommended for both an outing with family or a good date spot with a walk on the lake afterwards. It was very busy and they still continued to check up on us, they were very friendly and helpful as well.

Don’t waste your time, the staff will just ignore you and walk by you and not offer service. Looks like Sortiris restaurant on Harvester has a way better Greek food menu anyways. Do you like the picture? Go to 400 Brant street restaurant for the prosciutto panini, it’s delicious and you will actually get service there..unlike this place Hostess was super polite, she sat us at a table inside. We watched 4 waitresses and a manager walk by during the 8.5 minutes we sat at our table. There were 3 tables of people inside, 5 tables outside…it wasn’t busy. Completely ignored at a table that was fully visible..my husband and I left. You don’t want to offer service? Racial profiling? We sat quietly and waited..and no one came by. Disgusted. Won’t be back EVER.

Nice people, staff very friendly. Food was very good, quite impressed. Had a gyro on a pita and it was nice and subtle, not as strong-flavoured as so many others. Good amount, not too much, didn't need a nap after. Would certainly return.

I was lucky enough to visit this gem on two separate occasions and indulge in a variety of dishes. The restaurant has a beautiful aesthetic, and the staff are friendly. Vanessa served us both times, and she was a delight! The restaurant boasts a variety of authentic Greek options that leave you wanting another bite, even if you're already full. I sat both on the patio and inside - if the weather permits and it's an option, definitely go for the patio seating. We ordered an array of appetizers, which I'm ranking based on my preferences: Spanakopita, Kalamaria, Kafteri Feta, and Saganaki (the appetizer that is set on fire in front of you - available only for dinner and inside the restaurant). For our mains, we had Moussaka, Gyro, Beef, and Chicken Souvlaki. Their portion sizes are huge and worth every dollar. I'm so happy we discovered this taverna and will definitely be back!

Had a great time here with the family here. It was a very busy day but the staff were quick to seat us. We had some dips for appetizers and all of them were fresh and delicious. I had the gyro and it was tasty alongside the Greek salad and rice. My family had the souvlaki and the chicken was tender and the potato was tasty as well. We ordered the lamb and it was extremely tender as well. This is the best Greek food in Burlington and will definitely be coming back!
