My Roti Place My Dosa Place - best Indian restaurant

They were nice and friendly as soon as my husband and I stepped in. They even explained what certain dishes are so we would have a better understanding of what we are ordering Food was delicious wish a minimum wait time and we would certainly come back to try more new dishes If you could wipe the tables and menus a bit better so they aren’t sticky that would make it all even better!

It's too spicy for anyone's taste. The restaurant owners/cooks don't understand that spiciness beyond certain levels makes all foods taste the same, just too hot to please your taste buds.

he ambiance was warm and inviting, the food was absolutely delicious, and the service was exceptional. A special shoutout to Amrit, who went above and beyond to make our evening memorable. From recommending the best dishes to ensuring we were comfortable throughout, Amrit’s attention to detail and friendly demeanor truly stood out. It’s rare to find staff members who are so dedicated to providing outstanding service. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and impeccable hospitality. I ordered Hakka fried rice chicken today and the quantity is not worth $21.99. Also the taste is average. I would not recommend this place for fried rice. 🙂

Delicious Indian cuisine in the heart of Vaughan! I recently visited My Roti Place My Dosa Place and was impressed by the flavors and variety. The dosas were crispy and flavorful, and the roti was soft and fresh. The service was friendly and attentive. They have 4 levels of spices, i.e. Mild, Medium, Serious and Stupid. Usually they take 10 to 15 minutes to prepare the food. I love this place all over the GTA. I have order to Ruthvik, he is a great person.

I’ve been eating here for years. After a few months break I ordered takeout butter masala and paid for extra veggies. Once I was home I noticed the dish was less than half full. Usually I have enough for 2 meals. My chicken had maybe 4 or 5 small pieces. My vegetables came with one slice of carrot. One tiny piece of cauliflower and one small piece of broccoli. It also had 2 small cubes of tofu which it doesn’t normally have. I called the restaurant to let them know they had a disappointed and very hungry customer. They justified it by saying that they changed the look of their chicken and that it appears smaller but that I am getting the correct amount of food. They said I could come and get a little extra food if I wanted to. This was a terrible experience and frustrating customer service. Sad to say goodbye to what was once a good takeout restaurant.

This place was recommended to us by friends.We got takeout - street samosa chaat, honey garlic cauliflower, chicken dum biryani, classic roti with chicken and superior butter masala and a lamb kheema roti. The restaurant also gave us free gulab jamuns, which was great! 🤩 Service was quick and friendly. The reason they lost a star is because we didn't like the lamb kheema roti and we ordered boneless biryani and got bone-in instead.One thing to note, if you have a medium spice level tolerance, order mild, because their medium is VERY spicy. The positives were that the flavors for most of the items was on point. The samosa chaat was divine, just what you need on a cold winter day. They recommended the honey garlic cauliflower which was delicious. The biryani had a mild flavor which was good. The chicken with the superior butter masala was good but too spicy for me. I will definitely be back to try other items off their menu.
