Visited the place twice. Both occasions the food has been very good. Service is good too. The ambience and cleanliness and spacing between tables probably they could improve. Right now if two large groups are there it gets a bit noisy overall but that again isn’t a major one though

Genuine review Best service , very good hospitality. Great staffing. What we ordered: As a starter coconut chicken (up yummy), pacha mango chilli fish (basa) so good , both were very creamy. Main course: Appam (was kallu appam, but was mentioned by the chef), Kerala Porotta (was not so fresh , just ok), Angamaly pork (enjoyed by our guest, but wansnt Anagamly pork not bad), beef roast (wasn’t so great) . So the combo beef and porotta don’t really click. Mango Lassi was so yum , Sharjah shake was not up the mark (very watery no nuts and very little banana on it). I am a hard core fan of their chicken biriyani and chicken Mandi 🔥(my all time fav) Out over all staff and food was great. Still best in GTA. Definitely visit again .

I had 2 consecutive bad experiences with Mr Johns Brampton. I ordered a Chicken Biriyani over Skip on Friday, and Mr Johns sent me a Chicken biriyani with Zero Gravy. I called them on Friday and complained about it because I had already booked a 10 people party for Saturday and did not want that order to be messed up. This I conveyed over the phone as well. Now, on Saturday, I went and collected order for 10 people and surprised to see that it has been packed in individual boxes for 10. I clearly mentioned over the phone while booking on Wednesday that I want it together and they agreed and said the amount for it which I accepted. The price was also confirmed on the call on Friday as well. During pick up on Saturday (forget about the 10 boxes) they charged more, which I had to fight to get the agreed price. The level of communication is pathetic between the staffs. Here comes the fun fact, I took the food around 12:-15 to 12:30 and reached home by 1 pm, one of the curry (avial) was rotten by 2 pm, and later on the Cabbage curry also went bad as well. The packaging was such a manner that curries were on top of rice which caused the rice unconsumable since rice was mixed up with the rotten curries. This is very unprofessional and pathetic and when some one is arranging a party, this could become a nightmare, thanks to Mr Johns.

I recently visited Me Johns and loved the cozy ambiance and friendly service. The fish molly was amazing ,rich in flavor and paired perfectly with the appam. The pork curry and porotta were also great. Overall a nice experience.

I recently visited this restaurant and tried the Chicken Varattiyathu, beef fry, appam, and porotta—all were really delicious! However, I found the lime juice too salty and lacking that fresh lime flavor. The service was just okay; the server seemed a bit dramatic. On the plus side, the wait time was short, and the tea was excellent, reminiscent of what you’d find in Kerala. Overall, a solid experience!

I recently dined at this restaurant and was impressed by the good interior and fast food delivery. The customer service was generally excellent, though there was one staff member whose service could use improvement. We tried their special, the Kalyana Biriyani, which was quite good and worth the recommendation. However, the 'Fish Pollichathu' didn't meet our expectations; the quantity was insufficient for the price. Overall, it was a positive experience with a few areas for improvement.

Yummy food at nominal prices! Customer service was top notch, shoutout to Thasneem who attended my table. Tried Payolli Chicken, Egg Roast, and Parotta. Food was tasty and in good quantity. Will definitely visit again with friends. Update: I tried Beef Varatiyathu and Tawa grilled prawns today. Beef dish was terrific, meat was so soft. Prawns I expected small size but they are big ones in shell. Takes some work, and gives less meat for 8 big prawns. Masala taste was great.
