Amazing service, the workers were so welcoming and the food was excellent. Also very kid friendly, family restaurant that left my family feeling very satisfied.

It's hard to find a restaurant in Burlington that serves a decent breakfast for a reasonable price. This is the one. I was a regular customer some years ago and it's nice to see the restaurant hasn't changed. The atmosphere, service, and food are all exceptional! I have no hesitation in recommending Mount Royal Family Restaurant to visit at anytime for either breakfast, lunch or dinner!

Prefer that small family-run restaurant rather than a chain. Look no further this is your place. Exceptional food combined with a pleasant atmosphere and service makes this your go-to stop.

Mount Royal had been one of my favourite breakfast place for many years when there would be a lineup to get in after 9:30. It was the best coffee of all the breakfast places I went to. After COVID I started to notice a slight change, potatoes done different but still a very good breakfast. After a bit there was a modest price increase of $1.00-$1.50 which was standard at most restaurants, I went there a few weeks ago and was surprised when I got the bill and coffee was not included anymore and the price had gone up another $1.00, the breakfast was disappointing as there was only a handful of potatoes and a lot of empty plate area, I paid $3.50 more for breakfast than the last time, I was quite disappointed with the small portion, several of the other places I go for breakfast have much larger portion for the same price or less. I doubt I will be returning, I prefer to support small diners rather than chain restaurants but compared to other places, even other small diners, Mount Royal no longer is worth it I'm sorry to say. I may give you another shot but if it's the same as my last visit, I won't be returning.

Little family spot casually selling the best pizza, sandwiches, and salads in town. The dough is home made even for their sandwiches. I had the beet and spinach salad and an eggplant and roasted vegetables sandwich. The salad was beyond perfection and the sandwich was fresh. All the ingredients are delicious.

My fam and I loved the outdoor patio, the friendly staff greeted us, cleaned a table for us and we were seated immediately. We urgently needed coffee ☕️ and Anna brought it out with speed. Hot hot fresh brew. And then we ordered breakfast 🧇 🍳🥞. French toast and Pancakes special, home fries, eggs 🥚, bacon 🥓 sausages…. Wow it was quick service. Great 👍 food. Update: November 1st, 2023... Lunch for Breakfast? I think so; especially when you are having the most incredible Greek Salad available anywhere! It's an artistry of color and tastes amazing! Staff still the very best. I love this "Family" restaurant. Simply the best!!! UPDATE: December 31st, 2022 Still very happy with amazing service and family friendly atmosphere. Trish has been a constant here for 28 yrs. Today we were here for my daughter 29th Birthday brunch...a yearly tradition for her and once again, never disappointed. Great Family Restaurant with amazing Greek Fare. Typical old style family restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner...daily specials with soup or salad and fantastic family friendly prices. Service is incredible and fast. Our family has been dining here for 22 yrs and will continue to do so.
