Monga Fried Chicken (Hamilton)

They falsely advertised a quantity of forty chicken wings. Upon delivery through uber eats, They delivered half the quantity. Very unprofessional to wrongly advertise to customers with no resolution. The quality of the food was very poor. Don't waste your time and money.

I didn’t have a good experience at Monga Fried Chicken. I came in to ask if about the food they offered for people with dietary restrictions and was met with a sassy reply. Will not be recommending to friends.

I love fried chicken. We stopped by and an ordered strips and a 2-piece. Strips were regular flavor and 2 piece was spicy. The food didn't settle well overnight. Maybe was something in the ingredients list that just didn't agree with our usual. No idea. Tldr: the strips were a bit soft, floppy and the 2 piece was ok. Both were a distinctive flavor, not one we preferred. That's all. It probably tastes good to others, not us 3 stars for food: at $30, the food was on the higher price, but since the flavor and the strips crunchiness wasn't right , it took the experience down. 3 stars for service: the person is hard working. It looked like a one person show, but as a result, there's no service. You read the menu, order in the self serve machine, you get you number called. Again, it's not service, so I can't even justify higher 3 stars atmosphere: it's very... rugged. It's a take out by virtue of lack of space. Maybe it's a 4/5 for take out quality, but even then, it's a rugged, low cost operation. I think it's fine, I just want the food to be clean and place sanitary, and I didn't see any concerns.

Used to be my favourite( not this location) 2-3 years ago, ordered recently here, I got the signature Hot Chick, and the portions reduced by 30% and chicken was overcooked… the bento box had 3 slices of cucumber and veggies with tiny bit of rice. The bento box was very disappointing. The sweet potato fries is still as good as before tho.

Chicken was super fresh and juicy! I got the Three Musketeers Combo for $41.99 & it was perfect for 4 people + leftovers. Definitely recommend for anyone that wants a nice slab of fried chicken thigh. 👍🏽

Yesterday I watched a FB video about Korean Fried Chicken and now I am craving for one. Coincidentally found this place. Ordered the traditional / original and was not disappointed. Chicken was freshly cooked, very tender and well seasoned- sweet and savory flavor, Wait time is long due to freshly cooked by staff. Best to order ahead to avoid long wait.

Ordered from Monga quite a few times and it’s consistently good. Tried all their flavours and my top two are plum pickle salt and the original. Mozzarella is a hit or miss. Regardless their chicken is always crispy and juicy. Even after a night or two I just put it in the air fryer and it’s still decent.
