My family and I have been coming here since they opened. They have the best sushi we’ve tried. We usually order 2 specific rolls because of how much we like them. This is an amazing sushi place and the workers are amazing.

I think this spot is my favourite sushi spot in Newmarket. They only do takeout. The cashier is always so nice and welcoming!

Minami is a sushi lover’s dream! The fish is incredibly fresh, the rolls are creative and flavorful, and the presentation is stunning. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. Easily one of the best sushi spots I’ve ever been to!

Big fan of the Aurora location, unfortunately this location is absolutely terrible when it comes to service and delivery times. We were double charged on one occasion and ended up paying an extra $93 which they wouldn't refund. Decided to give them another chance because the sushi itself is good, but they delayed the order over and over, it took literally 2 hours when the original estimate showed 20 minutes. Will never order from here again, what a shame.

Was a frequent customer but i guess today is the last time after already giving second chance last time. Got charged full price after I cancelled my order in less than 5 mins. After that, i still decided to give them a chance and order again because i love the sushi from here. Unfortunately, how they treat you as a customer is horrible and unacceptable. This time today, we ordered through uber eats and our order supposed to be here in 50 mins but instead the driver kept waiting for the order which they didn’t even make 2 hours after ordering food. Absolutely ridiculous. I would drive extra mile to go Minami in Aurora to get a good experience and quality sushi.

This place is absolute my go to for takeout (through ubereats). I feel really strongly about their food because it is just that good. I always get the ‘Hako Spicy Salmon Sushi” and it NEVER disappoints. They are so consistent and I am so satisfied every time. The ratio of rice to salmon, sauce, and presentation is perfect. If you’re a fan of torched sushi, I recommend this place.

Having been a HUGE fan of the original location in Aurora, I had no doubt in my mind that the Newmarket location would be nothing short of fantastic. It’s a much smaller shop, specializing in takeout orders but the quality is still top notch. My four favourite special rolls are: Orangeville, Amazing Spider, Black Dragon, and Neo Tokyo. They only use the freshest ingredients and are not stingy with them! Always looking forward to my next order 😋
