Mimi’s is so delicious! The food is quality, fresh and consistent. The dinner combo #1 comes with so much food, you’re definitely getting a great value. I plan my trips to Hamilton around when they will be open so I can bring it home. The staff are always attentive, communicate with you if there is any delay in your order and seem to genuinely appreciate your business. Lastly, pretty sure they grow their own chili spices!

The best!! A welcome addition to Hamilton's limited SE Asian cuisine options. It's mostly a take out place (there is one table) , and gets very busy.... so plan accordingly

Wow I’m from Hamilton and I cannot believe I’ve never tried this place until now! No more trips all the way to the GTA for authentic Thai/Indonesian/Malaysian food. Large selection of signature south East Asian dishes to choose from. For those willing to try some authentic laksa you need to come here! The Singapore laksa was filled to the brim with toppings (chicken, shrimp, fishball, fried tofu, bean sprouts, boiled egg, cucumber) which all soaked up the flavourful laksa soup which tasted like home. Spice level can be adjusted. Rice noodle was cooked to perfection and hold onto the soup so well. General Thai chicken was nicely fried, not too much batter and sauce so tasty paired with the coconut rice. Mimi’s is mainly a takeout joint, but there is one round table available to dine in and staff are very friendly and accommodating as we enjoyed our meal. Felt lucky to have met the chef who came out to greet us after our meal, she was so sweet and welcoming as are all the staff here. Finished off with the taro tapioca dessert which interestingly tasted and smelled a lot like honey nut Cheerios lol but DELICIOUS with very nice coconut milk base. Sadly the mango sticky rice was not available as per the staff, due to mangoes not being in season.

The quality of the food and taste is super nice ! They added more vegetables than mentioned in their menu. The quantity is good. Customer service amazing! No space to dine in.. only one table . Can’t wait to go back . Plenty of option for vegetarians.

TL:DR A nice location in East Hamilton, not far from Tim Hortons Field, with good tasting Thai, Chinese, Malaysian and Indonesian dishes, nice decor and good portion sizes for the cost. We will go back again. My wife (who is Malaysian) always loves to find places to eat Malaysian food. When we learned Mimi's had some Malaysian dishes it was inevitable that we'd end up here. Mimi's has a mix of Thai, Malaysian and Indonesian dishes along with some of the standard Chinese-Canadian dishes (like General Tao/"Thai" Chicken). I got the Nasi Goreng (fried rice) with beef. It was very well done. The rice was hot and steamy with the right level of smokiness. I would have liked some more sambal or sauce but the very thinly sliced chillies brought the heat. My wife got the Singapore Laksa which she enjoyed. For the boys we got Pad Thai, which was good, but a little too sweet. It might have been because we asked for no spice for the boys, which threw off the balance of sweet, spicy, sour, salty and creamy. The mango salad was fresh and tasty, with a mix of sweet and sour. One thing to note about this place is that they only have one table, so you should be prepared for take out. The place looks nice in terms of colours (muted red and brown and bamboo, with Thai and Chinese figurines) and there are a lot of boxes (in case that isn't your thing). Service was in plastic containers but they provided bowls on asking.

It can be really hard to find good Asian food, especially Thai food with authentic Thai flavors. I am happy to say that this is one of those restaurants that executes on the authentic expressions of Thai foods really well. This is our second order, we got the spring rolls, papaya salad, pad Thai, pad woon sen, massaman curry, general Thai chicken and the spicy beef in curry and coconut. The restaurant reached out to us and informed us about the timing of the order and it was all ready when I arrived. Firstly, the spring rolls and the sauce are excellent, the noodles of the pad Thai were cooked perfectly. The pad woon sen and papaya salad were excellent and accurate represtations of Thai flavor. The chicken massaman and the general Thai chicken are mind blowingly good, must have every time I order. The only thing that was a bit underwhelming was the spicy beef with curry in coconut, I think it would have been better with some extra curry, fish sauce and a bit more spice. Each dish will run between $12-18 and I would say they are good value for your money. One person can order any two of these and there will be leftovers. I highly recommend this place, the food is excellent, the service is good and the people are very kind. We will be returning often, my Thai wife gives you two thumbs up 👍👍.

Hands down, one of the best restaurants in Hamilton for authentic Asian cuisine. Ordered corn fritters, chicken pad Thai, general thai chicken. 😋 tasty and flavorful. Highly recommended if you are craving for delicious authentic Asian food. 10/10 Ordered again for a 2nd time and this place never disappoints. Ordered corn fritters, calamari, Singapore Laksa. Everything was delicious. If I won the lottery, I would definitely hire the chef of his establishment as my personal chef! No kidding.😊 3rd visit- Ordered taro tapioca pudding, char kway teow and chicken green curry. Absolutely delicious. This place always makes great dishes. I am definitely a lifelong customer!

We tried this for the first time this week and were absolutely blown away with the quality of food. This is the only place we know the city where you can get authentic beef Rendang. Each bite is full of flavour. We also tried the Singapore Laksa and it was so fresh and delicious. Note that the dishes are quite spicy so if you are not big into spicy foods, choose the medium or mild option. Highly recommend this place! Will totally come back again ! Update: It’s been years and this place is still amazing. It only gets better and everything just hits the soul. In this day an age, they managed to keep prices stable. You get so much food for what you pay. This place deserves so much more attention.
