Mike's Subs is, without a doubt, the best sub shop in Hamilton. Full stop. No debate needed. I've been a loyal customer since high school, and in all that time, they haven’t changed a thing—except now their debit machine takes tap (progress, right?). And honestly, they shouldn’t change a thing. Unlike other so-called sub shops offering over-the-top, toasted, gourmet experiments, Mike’s keeps it simple and authentic. They don’t bother with 100 unnecessary options that drive up costs and waste. They focus on what they do best: making amazing subs (and gyros, too). Their prices are refreshingly affordable, their menu is streamlined, and the quality is unbeatable. Mike’s doesn’t try to reinvent the sandwich —they just make great subs. Every. Single. Time.

Great fresh bread. Ingredients are top notch, they don't skimp on anything! I know there are other "Mike's" out there, I have tried them several times, but this is the best in the city And open late, what more can one ask for from a sub shop. Reminds me of the big subs I used to get as a kid :)

If you like classic cold cut subs, this place is amazing. Simple, fresh, and delicious. Great prices and friendly service. I like that they have default toppings so it’s easy to order. Will definitely be back!

Not much to say about the atmosphere other than it's a takeout sub shop. The subs are reasonably priced and you get a fair amount of meat for the price. I remember one customer complained about how the subs were getting smaller. They are no longer 12 inch subs. They are 10 inches. Check out their daily special.

If you love old school classic sub sandwiches look no further. Small, delicious with an extensive menu and killer prices a great spot for a quick bite. Many subs still under $10.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting a local family-owned sub shop in Hamilton, Ontario, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience. I ordered the mixed sub, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The sandwich was beautifully crafted, with every ingredient perfectly balanced to create a harmonious blend of flavors. The bread was fresh and had the perfect amount of crispness, while the meats and vegetables were of the highest quality. Each bite was a delightful explosion of taste, making it one of the most beautiful sandwiches to ever grace my tongue. The shop itself had a warm and welcoming atmosphere, reflecting the care and pride the family puts into their business. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the overall experience even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this sub shop to anyone in the Hamilton area looking for a delicious and satisfying meal. This place is a true gem, and I can’t wait to return for another 10/10 experience.

Went here for lunch and got two subs. Bread was okay but the toppings that they use for the subs were low grade. I guess if you factor in how cheap the subs are then it's a good deal, but even then it tastes pretty bad in comparison to other places you can go to with higher quality ingredients for a little bit more. This brings me to my locks point which is their false advertisement. They have a deal that says a can of pop is included. When you go to get your pop they say that some are premium pops and cost a dollar more but they don't actually list that anywhere in their advertisement or signs. Do you end up getting a subpar sub, plus they try to scam you. Hence the one star.

My favorite Sub place! I've tried Vegetarian Sub from this place which cost less than $6, and it has a great taste with lots of options of sauces/toppings. Staff is always polite and restaurant from inside is always clean. Only drawback is : NO DINE IN & NO APPLE PAY but I(most people)can work it around and yet I recommend this place very strongly.
