looking for a afghan place as we are Afghan, we found this place on tiktok and we’re not disappointed! kind and respectful service with amazing food quality and taste just like home. you won’t be disappointed if it’s you’re first time trying Afghan food and this is the place to go!! definitely try this place and WORTH YOUR MONEY and also very affordable! the Mazaar plate fed my family of 7 and was under 50$ with another add on. cannot say enough good things about this place and will be returning again for sure.

Went to try "Qabuli Uzbaki". It was not "Uzbaki" by any means, the taste was okay. Maybe they should advertise as regular Qabuli Palow and not Uzbaki Qabuli. Wanted to try Bolani but looked stale. So didn't order. Staff were friendly and kind. Good atmosphere and clean environment. Overall, 4/5*. Would come back to try other menu items, hopefully they taste better.

The food was nothing short of amazing and the price was fairly reasonable too. The owners were the kindest, most hospitable people. It felt like we had the full experience of an Afghan cuisine. The kebab was delicious and most memorable. I recommend this restaurant to everyone!

I had an amazing experience at this family-owned gem! From the moment I walked in, the friendly staff made me feel right at home. The service was prompt and efficient, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable. The meal was absolutely delicious – every bite was full of flavor and perfectly prepared. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into both the food and the overall experience. I can't wait to return and try more of their amazing dishes. Highly recommend!

Date/Time of Visit: November 27, approximately 5:30pm was first visit to Mazar Pizza & Kabob House. Very friendly greeting upon entry, and the gentleman that was working the counter was very helpful and personable. I ordered the Sultani Platter to go and had a samosa while I waited. Great efficient service. The beef samosa had great seasoning on the beef and I really enjoyed the pastry. The portion size of the Sultani Platter was very good for the price with 2 skewers, rice, Naan, with grilled tomato and grilled jalapeño on top the rice. Great presentation! And meal also comes with a green salad.

I'm always happy to have a new restaurant in Pickering, especially one with Afghan food. I stopped by on their opening day and ordered a BBQ Steak 12" sub, which was absolutely delicious and really hit the spot. I'm saving the Afghan food for a dinner, and will definitely be coming back to try some more items on the menu. Friendly service, great food and good location.
