Overall was a great experience. Service was reminiscent of the very quick service you’d find in Hong Kong. The food came out within a matter of minutes. The space is definitely a little cramped. The price for the food was also very reasonable. Portion size was generous, and flavors were pretty authentic. You can tell they don’t make an effort to add extra “flair” to the food, but if you want traditional Hong Kong style breakfast, this is not a bad spot. (Not sure why it’s called a Korean grill on the name plaque)

Had a lunch here on a weekday. The dining room was filled up quickly after 12pm. Ordered a lemongrass porkchop Bento box lunch set. Soup of the day and milk tea were included for $14. Pretty good value. The porkchop was not bad but the side dishes were blend. Soup and milk tea were pretty good. Plenty of parking in the plaza.

Food tastes really bad, either too salty or too sweet? Consistency is one of the most important factors for restaurant dishes, right? But I don’t see that in any dishes we ordered. Service was bad too. Some servers are nice but there’s always 1 or 2 servers that offered next-none-service. Someone should open a legit Chinese restaurant in this plaza and Matsuya will go out of business naturally.

The breakfast chicken and egg was so good! Big portions and taste delicious. Service was friendly too! I find all of their fried stuff tastes pretty good!

Came in for the happy hour lunch menu. I got the pork chop sandwich and milk tea. I really enjoyed the food. It hit the spot, the service was fast and friendly. The place itself is quite spacious so I didn't feel cramped in.

It was my first time having lunch here. The restaurant was very clean & spacious. It’s a nice place for food and chat with friends. The environment made us feel very comfortable & relaxing. We enjoyed the food there. The service was great! It’s been a while since I ordered from Matsuya. This time I ordered two combos to go. The bento lunch box with lemongrass pork chop was good. It came with two side dishes including: tomato fried eggs which was yummy but, the fungus tasted oily and bland. The curry beef brisket was also tasty. It was nice that both combos came with Borscht soup and a drink. The price was reasonable and the portion was quite big.

We came here during the weekend and the restaurant was packed but we got seated right away for a table for 2. Service was very quick, staff were attentive and friendly. We ordered the baked portuguese rice with chicken and pork chop with black pepper sauce with rice for lunch. They are pretty generous with the portions! We left feeling full & happy with plenty of leftovers!
