Perfect lil gem of a restaurant! Wish I had found this sooner!!! I was craving pasta and came across this restaurant when I searched for halal Italian restaurant. The food was hands down Delicious! We ordered the bruschetta, gnocchi, linguini salmone, mango Bellini's and we were stuffed. Portions sizes were big and we definitely had to pack half to go. The starter complimentary bread was warm, soft with a small hint of garlic - awesome!!! Our server Subhaan was such a nice young gentleman. He checked in on us to see if we needed anything and definitely was very helpful. He even brought us the special hot sauce that definitely was hot! I hope they can offer it in bottles to go in the future. We had no idea they had so many specials. Pasta's were $14.95 before 3pm, so we got lucky arriving at 230. Ambiance and atmosphere was wonderful. Nicely spaced out booths and tables. Low calm melodious music, 2 big screens showing an array of island views. Nice clean place, including the bathrooms. I will definitely have to go back and make room for the desserts! Overall very glad I found this place. Would definitely recommend it!

Came here for a school project that needed me to try authentic Italian food and I wanted to come here because it was one of the only restaurants in the GTA offering halal authentic Italian food. I ordered the minestrone for appetizers, which came with fresh focaccia. My friends got the shrimp and the caprese salad, both were good but the caprese had some perfume taste to it. For mains I got the farfalle di mare and it was delicious it had a simple sauce which paired well with the seafood. For dessert I got the crème caramel but I was not a fan of it, tasted a bit off. Overall really liked this and you can feel the authenticity through the food! Would go again

I wanted to try a place that offered Italian food with a desi twist so I found this place based on the reviews it had. I was a bit skeptical but ended up taking my friends there and boy was I pleasantly surprised. It’s a cute little restaurant in the plaza that offers a great mix of modern and classic dishes. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a friendly staff who made us feel at home right away. I cannot say enough about the service we received by Aftab and rest of the team. It was Wednesday night and they have a deal that moms eat free when another person buys a dish. A coupe of my friends have kids but since it was girls’ night they didn’t bring their kids. We spoke to Aftab about it and we were informed that kids should accompany but he was so sweet that he brought us garlic cheese bread on the house. I opted for their three course meal with lobster bisque, which was a delightfully flavourful and the presentation was simple yet elegant. For the main course, I had the shrimp & salmon linguine, which was cooked to perfection. Oh and let me tell you about their spicy chilli sauce that they give you on the side for those who enjoy spicy food. It is to die for!!!! I ended up with a tiramisu cake which is highly recommended!!!! The portions were generous and the prices reasonable. I ended up ordering their Lime Margarita cocktail which was nice too. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Mambo Italiano. The food was flavorful, and the service impeccable. I will definitely return!!!

Great Italian restaurant. Amazing specials and very friendly servers. Lots of different items on the menu, we chose lasagna and veal scallopini which were both delicious. The free fresh made bread with balsamic and olive oil were much appreciated. We will be back.

Such a yummy, unassuming place. We ordered a variety of dishes (for a party of 12) and everything was fantastic. The service: Attentive and accommodating staff. Everyone was nice, courteous, and professional. They catered to our every request and were just fantastic all around. The food: Everything we ordered was delicious, from the pastas to the steaks. Food came as soon as it was ready, so everything was the perfect temperature and boy was it delicious. The steaks ordered were cooked beautifully. Considering this isn't a steakhouse, I was pleasantly surprised. Bonus: We mentioned there were a couple of birthdays being celebrated recently, and they brought out complementary Tiramisu and they were light and very pleasant. A cute and unexpected touch. The hot drinks were also excellent. Highly recommended.

The staff is so nice and welcoming. The food is absolutely amazing. The prices are so fair and the portion sizes are pretty big. You definitely won't be leaving hungry. They also have some great deals throughout the week that are definitely worth going for.
