The ambiance of this restaurant is incredible, the tables make you feel like your in someone's home and that is a priceless feeling. The 2 sisters explained the meals and were friendly. I'm familiar with Haitian food but sometimes I need refreshers. We had the Fritay chicken, pork and chicken stew. With okra, pikliz, plantain, etc. It was great! And made fresh. Also tried the cassava bread which was sweet but tastes like back home otherwise. I strongly recommend and will return.

Went to Lunie's Haitian Fritay in Welland tonight for dinner. Had never been before, but will certainly go back! We had: Chicken & Plantain (top dish), which came with some spicy coleslaw. Chicken Fritay (bottom dish), which came with the spicy slaw, and your choice of two sides (I opted for the plantains and mac and cheese). The singular dish was griot poutine. The picture doesn’t do the flavour justice. 10/10 would recommend. Food and service…top notch!

I had an exceptional dining experience at Lunie's haitian Fritay. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with attentive staff. The food was incredible. The fritay taso was cooked to perfection, with flavors that popped and a presentation that impressed. The fritay griyo was equally delightful. Lunie even stopped by to ensure everything was to our liking. She is an amazing cook. Can't wait to return and try more of the menu.

Wow! This was my first time ever eating Haitian food, so I asked Lunie what was the best dish to try first? First of all, she had lovely customer service and was very easy to talk to. But the dish she recommend was the fried pork, fried plantains, and spicy coleslaw… oh my goodness!!! If you like spicy this is it!! Not that spicy though, justtt right. I will be back👍🏼

I take no pleasure in doing this but I must as I do not wish others to encounter the same issue. The food was great. But we hit a few bumps witht this facility. Please know that this is not your usual place of business. Although we followed procedures, called and used the suggested app to order the food. When we were notified the food was ready, we proceeded to the address for pick up. The order did not come through according to one person. We should have requested a refund a moved along! We gave it another try and decided to wait because they miraculously noticed the order. By the time we reached back we had given an additional 30 minutes because we taught that was reasonable since the food was supposed to be ready in 15 minutes. No one picked up the phone number posted. We decided to wait outside for our meals. We saw someone going grocery shopping for plaintain to finish our meals while we were waiting. They knew we were outisde at this point, they changed one of the orderl without consulting with us first. In conclusion we waited 2 hours for our food, we only got sorrys and thank you for our patience. NO Customer service . We started receiving texts messages a day later about the logistics of the restaurant they know they messed up. If you are open to whatever this is for you. If you value your time and have high expectations as we did. I do not recommend.

The food was exquisite. Very well prepared and well packaged. I had the griot (marinated fried pork), fried plantain and a Haitian patty. My sister had their fried chicken and fried plantains combo, Well portioned for both meals. Definitely got my money's worth. The food was very flavourful, It brought back so many good memories. As a Haitian who doesn't have the luxury to travel back and forth to my home country, it was nice having a taste of home. If you are in the Niagara region looking to try something new, Lunie’s Cuisine will not disappoint.

Being an Indian, it’s hard to try food from other culture but I knew one thing about the owner that she is amazing in her cooking skills. I tried Haitian food and it was amazing. The food was fresh, perfect and so much yummy. Thank you lunie.
