Lugano Pizza

Great experience. Delicious pizzas. I don’t know what Mozzarella cheese they use but it’s just so damn delicious compared to many others. Must try.

First time at Lugano's. We went for the reviews. The pizza was fantastic. Crust was perfect, cheese was perfect, and toppings were great! 5 star pizza for sure. There is something about a hot piping pizza where everything is prepared and cooked correctly that tastes amazing! We always get the garlic bread loaf, and everywhere we have been, it is literally the same. The loaf was good but mid tier, the same as most places that have garlic loaves on the menu. Finding a spot to park, due to their location, was difficult!

Best place to go in (downtown) Burlington for a quick slice of pizza or for a takeaway box. Pizza is really tasty and far less greasy than big chains.

No complaints from me! Its a great place to go when you want hot pizza on a cold day and dont want to spend a lot! Good budget pizza! I havent seen prices like this since pre-pandemic. One filling slice was not even 4 dollars! I chose all the meats pizza and hubby got Hawaiian. I wish there was more meat on the hawaiian but no complains from me! The price is unbeatable. Service was good. Owner was friendly and fast. Pizza was hot. They had things on the side you could add so i added tons of parmesan cheese on both. If im ever in this neck of the woods and want a fast cheap hot slice of pizza, id go here again.

Dunno what I was expecting after a long day… came across this pizza joint… two margarita and one viggie pizza later the crew was satisfied…. Loved the pizza and service. Pretty simple store, one of the tables for 2 was broken… but the tasty pizza and prompt service made up for any shortcomings… if you are in the area… give Luganos a shot… take your pizza, park yourself on a bench in the Burlington water front and enjoy. it’s worth your hard earned $$

Overall: 5.5 / 10 A lot of local hype, but it didn't deliver. It's a thicker, softer, greasier pie that would be better for a quick slice after a night out than for a main course. Would not recommend, as the quality and flavour just aren't there. Crust: 5.5 / 10 Chewy, soft, slightly soggy, and didn't hold the toppings. Opted for plain cheese with the second for this reason. Sauce: 6 / 10 Basic, nothing remarkably good or bad. Cheese: 6 / 10 Again, unremarkable. You get a fair amount but the already soft crust can't handle it. Toppings: 5.5 / 10 Generic, bacon crumble, mostly canned. Nothing fancy or tasty here.

This pizza place is great for those on a budget: I got four large pizzas each with four toppings for $30.99. Pretty good quality too! The pizza ingredient breakdown: - The mozzarella cheese is meaty in texture and umami making it filling (for the stomach and the soul) in itself - Not too much marinara sauce without making the pizza dry. The sauce is a mild tomato: not too acidic or sweet bringing the two opposing flavours into equilibrium - Medium crust thickness. The crust is good but not by itself— consider adding a dipping sauce to add flavour and offset the buttery bread while reducing food waste (shameless sustainability plug) When I ordered, they accidentally combined the ingredients between two pizzas leaving one pizza loaded and the other lacking in toppings (unfortunately it was I who drew the short stick) reducing the review to four stars.

Super delicious!!! We got 2 smalls with extra cheese, with sundries tomatoes and mushrooms. The dough itself is great quality, doughy, airy and crispy! The pizza was super cheesy, not too heavy on the tomato sauce and crispy on the bottom. Would definitely recommend trying this if you are in the area.
