We’ve been visiting the Horseshoe Valley area for mini-vacations for over 25 years now. And our stats are not complete without a trip to Loobies. Just visited Loobies last week. Forgot to take a picture - it’s THAT good 🙏🙌🥰 The Fried Egg Sandwich on Rye - sounds simple and basic. But nothing at Loobies is simple or basic. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

Pretty standard breakfast, the sausages were fantastic! It was busy when we arrived but luckily there was counter space available. I don't understand the 1 star reviews. People seem to think they're restaurant critics.... The coffee is bottomless, I'm not sure how someone could make that mistake...

Nice little local restaurant. Been around a long time. They are more a breakfast lunch place but they open Thursday Friday for diner form 5-8 and I love bringing the kids here. Staff are just lovely. Food is very solid Don’t forget to ask for your colouring book !

This is clearly a popular family-style restaurant. We did have to sit down and wait in the chairs for ten minutes at 1:10 pm on Friday of the Victoria Day long weekend. I had an ordinary omelet, but I recommend the option of the grilled tomatoes instead of fries. My husband had fish and chips, which he really liked. We both agreed that his cole slaw was superb. Not wheelchair accessible.

This place is a little gem by Horseshoe Valley. Cozy, with a really nice atmosphere, it's offers a very solid dinner menu (ribs, fish and chips, pickerel, burgers, salads, etc) and everything looks super delicious and huge!! The pickerel, and the fish and shrimp were amazing!! We even mentioned the kitchen staff how yummy was everything. Service was attentive and easygoing!! 👍 It's always open for breakfast and lunch and only opens for dinner Friday and Saturday.

Whether you're hungry coming from skiing at Horseshoe Valley or just in need of a comfy Northern Canadian Style sit down diner with great food, this is the place. Loobies is a cozy classic Canadian diner with all the traditional breakfast delights all executed perfectly. It also has some great hearty lunch time meals like my favorite Beef Hoagie. The overall valued experience here is better than good, it's great. Don't forget to get some butter tarts on the way out
