Local Cafe

Menu prices did not match what we paid. When we told the owner she pointed out the fine print that prices subject to change. The hot chocolate was literally just warm milk, ended up throwing it out and getting another one next door. Won’t come here again.

My friend and I were visiting a farm close by and made a pitstop on the way. We ordered 2 cappuccino, double chocolate muffin and blueberry scone. Hands down to the muffin and scone. It was absolutely perfect with the sugar level and moist. It’s not overly sweetened. It was good size portion as well. It’s a small establishment. So, may not have sufficient place on a crowded day. However, there are sufficient chairs and tables to cater. They do have alternate milk options for those who don’t want dairy

I would like to make it known that I was at Local Cafe when Rana Adeel was. His recollection of this incident was false misleading and incorrect. He and his company he was with were rude condescending and loud. They disturbed the other patrons and harassed the staff. The employees of Local Cafe were nothing but respectful and accommodating.

A cute little cafe in the Main Street of Kleinburg, the owner is very friendly and gave us a fresh, free cookie! The coffee was tasty and there were a lot of options😁

Terrible service. Had to wait for more than 15 minutes to get my order that had just 1 ice cream. And the owner claims they gave it to me when I didn’t receive it. Had to go back and forth between 2 windows to see what the confusion was. All this for a mere $6? Unprofessional and a total waste of time. I would rather spend $15-$20 on a small cup of ice cream than pay $6 again to you guys. Do better next time please rather than saying it takes time during a holiday / long weekend. A small cup of ice cream can never take 15 minutes when it’s not even too busy and it’s 3 people working inside the store. It costs nothing to be nice to your customers coz guess what? You won’t survive without them.

I've enjoyed their croissants before. We went on a Sunday and ordered four croissants for $20. They were hard as a rock and we were instructed to heat them up to soften it. At that point we felt uncomfortable walking away. Disappointing. Will try the new breakfast place across the street which looks popular.

Great service! Nice little restaurant near McMichael art museum, we ordered espresso, cappuccino, two gelato and two croissants, the croissants are so good, definitely recommended. So was the gelato, flavour was excellent! The espresso and cappuccino were ok but decent.

I made a pitstop at Local Cafe while on a bike ride through Kleinburg. I enjoyed a chocolate bombe and tiramisu in a cup. The owner’s father, Pasquale, joined me as I ate and we had a nice chat until some other customers showed up that he had to serve. The food is wonderful and the service was fast and friendly. I felt like more than just a customer and will definitely make this my go-to pitstop during future rides.
