mind-blowing, absolutely FIRE food. hands down. probably your best option at upper canada mall; the epitome of a gem hidden in plain sight. mexicanada is surprisingly very (very!) authentic, featuring a menu that NEVER waters down its flavour for the gringos. tacos campechanos (with a generous serving of nopales!) are a must try, and the sopa de tortilla is a familiar, cozy winner. everyone in our party enjoyed their meals. portion sizes are just right for an individual serving, leaving you feeling completely satisfied !!!! enough said - go now !!!

We had such a nice lunch here! The food was great and authentic. Service was so nice. Our server’s name was Manuel, and he was awesome. Very kind and attentive. A nice way to end a quick shopping trip. Would definitely recommend.

The quesabirra tacos were the best tacos I’ve had in a really long time. The flavours were perfect! And our server Memo was amazing! Super kind, checked on us frequently and made sure our drinks were full! Will definitely be back and be recommending to friends and family!

The food was so GOOD!!! And the service is very friendly. There was also Manuel, he was so kind and he gave us a very good advice on which tacos were the best. Also the tacos of berria were so good so you guys should definitely get it. We ate all of our food… 5 stars

Came here on Sunday night ordered tacos de birria, guacamole and chips with a Paloma. The chips for the guacamole were rock hard and the guacamole was more puree and I prefer mine with chunks of avocado. The tacos were great but other than that everything else we tried was not great. We even ordered churros after and they were harder than I’ve had before at other places.

Me and my boyfriend went there this Sunday for lunch as I always wanted to try this location’s Mexican food! The looks were nice and I went there due to the reviews! In our opinion it was very very very average and at some point did not worth the money that we spent comparing to other places that we have tried! Specifically, we ordered “Parrillada for Two” as they stated a small bbq for the table suitable for two people! The portion was fair however the quality was low! The main problem was the way of cooking for all the material in the plate except the chicken. Probably the chicken was the only item that was cooked nicely. Other than that, the beef or the pork were overcooked, cold and hard! Not bad but it could be easily way better!!!! By keeping the dish warm and make the cheese to act instead of just putting it on the beef ( I wouldn’t complain about that just a suggestion as maybe the chef prefers it that way!) I believe the three starts is fair as it was very average and it was interesting to me on how sour cream or other sauces were not offered and we were charged for each sauce including sour cream (maybe I’m the only one that was not charged in other places for hot sauce and sour cream) - and it would be nice to inform the customer about the price while they request it. We didn’t leave hungry as we were extremely exhausted and hungry but I wish it was way better. Our server was a young lady and she was nice so shout out to her (unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to ask her name) Not bad again but unfortunately we won’t return or suggest it. Thank you.

Such an amazing Mexican restaurant! The food was so delicious & it was very authentic! The service was top tier! I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for authentic Mexican food. I would definitely go back!

Every time we passed by here in Upper Canada Mall, it got our attention. Finally we tried it and sadly it didn’t live up to the hype (possibly because we got the wrong dishes). We had their shrimp ceviche, which fell flat with too many hard chips (especially as we are ceviche-crazy and were expecting more). The fish tacos were great! They lived to our expectation. Sadly the vegetarian quesadilla was the dish we could have avoided, not much going on there. Their strawberry daiquiri and mango mojito were good. Excellent service with lots of seating (and lots of parking outside the mall).
