We came to La Baracca as a group of 7. We heard good things from friends, and the online reviews were amazing, so we decided to give them a try. The service was very nice. Our server was friendly and polite. The starters and the desserts were incredible. The pistachio lava cake in particular was one of the best desserts I've had. However, our mains were not very good. The pastas (all of them) were EXTREMELY salty — almost to the point of being inedible. Not sure if maybe they salted the water twice by accident, but all 3 pasta dishes we ordered tasted like ocean water. It could have just been an off night, as we've heard excellent things about this place. I will add – it was on the pricier side for sure. I’ve had much better Italian food for much less. We will have to come back and try again, but not for a while. What a shame. If you do visit, definitely get the pistachio lava cake.

The staff was very elegant and the food as presented very artfully and was also very tasty. We had an elegant girl’s lunch. We loved the mushrooom salad and the eggplant appetizer

We held an engagement party at the restaurant and it was incredible! The food was delicious and the service was amazing. From the planning to the execution it was flawless! Thank you to the whole staff for making this an unforgettable event!

Beautiful ambiance, amazing food. I tried the special lobster dish, it was like party in my mouth! Also had warm mushroom salad which was quite nice. The lava cake dessert was fabulous.

No need to drive downtown Toronto to enjoy Italian food.. Dinner at LA Baracca was very delicious with beautiful clean plating. The salad was so fresh...the pasta was so flavourful.... the Bolognese sauce tasted like home...my GF lobster pasta 😋 soo nice. Beautiful dinner experience. Thankyou Fabio, Matt nice meeting you both.

The staff were really friendly and the patio was nice. Personally I wasn’t a fan of the food, it wasn’t bad but it taste like it lacked key ingredients which a $32 pasta dish. For a mediocre almost $300 dinner I wouldn’t go again or recommend it. The bruschetta was good but the braised baby octopus was the worst, non fresh and tasteless.

We have returned many times (for lunch and dinners) and have always enjoyed everything. Very friendly and professional service. The food is excellent. The ingredients are always high quality, dishes are perfectly seasoned and tasty. Some of our favourites are the osso buco (outstanding!), lamb, mushroom pasta dish, and of course the homemade pistachio lava cake!! The prices are reasonable for the area. Worth every bite…Highly recommended.
