Kingsbridge Food Hall

We went to the Cafe section for their brunch. While the location is very pretty and it’s a nice atmosphere, the place fails to satisfy with their food. I eat at a lot of breakfast places and I am used to the main breakfast being aided with a side like potatoes and toast with jam, especially if you are paying $20+ for each dish. Here you had to pay separate for everything, even the jam. The portions for Egg Croissant and the French toast was big but the taste was very basic. Moreover, it was very difficult to eat. The croissant was shaped like a box which made it difficult to bite and it was too difficult to also cut into small pieces. There was hardly any flavour inside. Just your basic omelette with salt and pepper, packed in a croissant with mayo and a little of cheese. There was no wow factor or novelty to the taste. My husband ordered the smash burger with fried eggs but after delivering the rest of the orders after 15 mins, waiter comes and tells us that the burger will take 30 mins. He then had to order something else. The cafe has my full point for presentation and atmosphere, but fails where it matters the most; taste and satisfaction.

Wonderful brunch! The food was excellent but they were very understaffed. Our server Sans was trying her best but I think she was the only server for a dining hall filled with customers.

Much better than I was expecting, and I don't say that too many times, the food was excellent, the service that Yukta provided was quick and prompt. The creme brule French toast was the best I have ever had, and the same goes for their egg croissant souflet, we were a group of 5 adults and 6 kids, everything on the table was really good! I came here more than 2 years ago when it was just naan and chai, it was standard and not something I had wanted to return to, but this has totally changed my experience this time around.

This is our second visit to the Kingsbridge Food Hall. We were impressed with the food from Oklahoma Burger the first time and came back with a few friends for this visit. We wanted to try the BBQ brisket and the stuffed naan! Overall, food is good. Service is meh. We made reservations and thankful when we arrived that tables were available. Our entire party was seated and we waited for someone to give us menus. They didn’t arrive until we asked for them. We had to ask for water. Then we had to call someone over to take our order. Food arrived and almost everyone was pleased with their meal. (I asked for the Philly Naan without jalapeño peppers…they presented me the dish with peppers and when I asked she said they were green peppers. After taking a bite, they were definitely jalapeño peppers. Service was lacking so my husband and I switched dishes instead of asking for a new dish.) Again, food is good, service is meh. Just set your expectations.

The food was great (halal). This hall is a shared dining room for multiple restaurants including Naan, BBQ, karak, and Oklahoma burger. Food came relatively quick. I was in a large party that wasn't the quickest on deciding an order, none the less the service was very poor. Many of the requests we had such as asking for a chai were forgotten /ignored, we had to ask for water and we only got 1 small jug for 11 people (15% gratuity included). No refills were provided unless you keep asking. At the end of the evening, we looked to the servers many times so we can get the bill paid (maybe over 20 minutes) but no one came after receiving eye contact many times until we had to go up and request the bill. I'm not sure if they were allowing us to chit chat but there was a point it was quite obvious we were trying to settle up (multiple party members standing up, etc.)

Great spot with great food and great service. Our waitress Sans was very nice and helpful. Very cozy atmosphere (look at the photos I posted) and great seating spot by Hurontario Street. Genuine Halal food, for those who are interested as well. The Karak tea was also very nice and authentic. Food variety of 4 restaurants combined, that being said, there are options for all.

When we came in, we had to wait 15 minutes for a table of 3, We had made a reservation prior and still waited so long to get seated. When we were seated we were given the menus and waited for at least 15 minutes before someone took our order. After taking our order we waited for a FULL HOUR and still were missing a dish. When we asked for a takeout box they started prioritizing other things when grabbing us a box takes a minute. We ended up having to ask 3 DIFFERENT workers for a takeout box, which still ended up taking at least 15 minutes to get ONE TAKEOUT BOX. This place is over hyped. I would rate this place a zero if I could.

My friend and I ordered the Texas Brisket Naan and the Philly Cheesesteak Naan and both of us were completely enthralled. 10/10 delicious food. The service excellent, our server Shrutika was fantastic. I am definitely coming back.
