Joya is a staples and a traditional for our family. The food is fantastic and the best quality sushi around. The family who run Joya are amazing people who go out of their way to make you feel the love in the environment, hospitality, and the quality of their food. Our favourite items are their fish cake soup, the spicy tuna hand rolls (TO DIE FOR), and the avocado salad, which is perfect in its simplicity. We could drink the dressing. Joya is top-notch and is without a doubt our favourite sushi spot. Try it. You won't be dissapointed.

One of our favourite spots. Some of the best sushi, kimchi and Korean bbq we’ve ever had.

This cozy restaurant has both Korean & Japanese dishes which is nice for the variety. In my opinion it is a slightly higher price point than average Korean/ Japanese restaurants. But the service was great & the quality of food was also good. The complimentary miso soup is a very nice touch. I would definitely come back to this restaurant.

Just very nice in general and the price was good, both me and my friend left full. 100% would come again!

Ordered take out - time was really efficient and the staff are super nice. Good if you’re local and looking for something quick and easy. However, this was not my favourite place to order from as a sushi lover. Portions were fairly small; and their dim sum shrimp dumplings were tiny and didn’t give me a very authentic vibe.

My son took me for a surprise, better late than never Mother's day dinner. It was my 1st time eating at Joya Sushi and it was wonderful! The food fairly priced, fresh, delicious, large portions, and beautifully presented. The service was great. Our server was very pleasant and friendly. What a lovely place to dine! Highly recommended!

Could eat this every day!!!! Sooo fresh and yummy the best Sushi I've ever tried so far. It was recommended by a colleague and I took the chance to stop by today, the staff were very nice and friendly. I asked if they use wine making the rolls and the chef said no alchohol has been used. So glad it's Halal, I will come back for sure!

Wonderful sushi dinner! While in Hamilton on Friday afternoon, we had a craving for sushi ... so after a quick online search, Joya came up, and it was only a short drive to get there. Upon entering, we were greeted by friendly staff, who quickly sat us and gave us some delicious warm tea. The menu is rather extensive, with almost too many options. We chose to share the black dragon roll, the unagi and salmon sushi for our first course, and I opted for their beef udon soup to enjoy between the courses of sushi. We must say that the roll and sushi were so good that we ordered a second round of sushi's ... more unagi, mackerel, and two kinds of tuna. Wow! All fish was super fresh and perfectly prepared. And I must add, that the beef soup was incredible. I am a huge fan of all sorts of soups, and this one did not disappoint. The noodles were the correct consistency, the beef and slivers of veggies were spot on, but the star of the show was the broth. It was hot and hearty, with some much beefy and fatty flavour, it was slurping on an A5 wagyu steak. Wow! Oh, we know we'll be back next time we're in Hamilton. You should try them too.
