I've dined in once, and ordered takeout twice. We've even ordered at 2am on a Friday night, and the quality remains the same! The food is always amazing, and we're never disappointed!

I was driving past them when I saw the new sign and turned around to order takeout but they were so busy on a weekday! A big group had just settled in. Every table was full. That’s a good sign that they’re doing things right. I wasn’t willing to wait that day yet I liked the vibe. Yesterday I ordered chorizo and pastor tacos and guacamole for Uber delivery. The tacos were authentic and delicious! Lotsa well seasoned and tasty meat! Nothing covered up by a mound of shredded lettuce and cheddar. That’s what I wanted right here at home without having to travel downtown to look for a real family run Mexican cuisine restaurant. I was craving guacamole but the one I got was not fresh so only 4 stars today. I’m a finicky eater and will only eat freshly made guac so I’m counting on them getting it right next time. Overall, I love the menu as it’s full of great dishes I’d love to try. Mexican food doesn’t have to have shredded cheddar cheese on top all the time and I can see Jarocho is not that kind of restaurant. I can’t wait to dine in and experience Mexico in Newmarket!

I have been waiting to try this neighbourhood gem and I think I shouldn’t have because this place is amazing!!! Prices are very reasonable and food portions very generous. They now have their liquor license so margs for everyone!!! Delicious tacos, flautas and tres leche cake 🍰 thank to our amazing server Julio - he was sooo sweet and provided us with excellent service 5/5 ✨ stars

I found this place recently while waiting for my truck to be loaded. That day I had tacos. They were amazing and adding the hot salsa topped them off!! I had to go back this time with my wife. For those who understand the Hispanic culture will know that it’s hard to find good authentic food and environment that takes a person back to their homeland. This place did that for me, the food, the atmosphere, the music and the slow, laidback atmosphere made me feel like I was transported back to “home”. We not only enjoyed our evening meal there, we went back for breakfast!! Thank you for the amazing food and atmosphere!! For those who criticize, I am certain that you don’t understand the culture or the food!! Adelante, manteniendo la cultura y el sabor auténtico de tu país!! 👍💯

First time trying this authentic mexican restaurant, they also serve breakfast. We were there for lunch on a Saturday, not busy. The food is quite tasty, comes with free a bowl of tortilla chips with 3 sauces, each has different levels of spicy. Hubby and son had the enchilada (tomato sauce) and I had the chicken taco on flour tortilla, very flavourful. The bean dip is a bit funny tasting, I think it is grounded up black bean, I prefer whole bean dip. Will definitely come back and try other items on the menu 😉

Went to Jarocho on a weekday for dinner. Service could have been better considering there weren't too many people in the restaurant at that time. The server was polite and friendly. Food tasted great and the portions were good as well. Prices were slightly higher than the other Mexican restaurants we have visited in Toronto. Definitely worth a try.
