Jade Dim Sum

I used to dine here often but today was my last straw. You never know what you're going to get in terms of food quality. Some times it's good, some times it's dry, some times it's overcooked. The servers are not very friendly and the staff are impatient with diners. They are impolite when you ask for water or napkins. The previous time I was here, I paid with debit and didn't think I needed my receipt. Then one of the ladies chased me out of the restaurant into the parking lot demanding to see my bank account to make sure I paid because their system malfunctioned. So just to keep the peace, I opened my app and I showed her the payment went through while covering how much I have in that account. She had the audacity to ask to see how much was in my account. I told her I wasn't comfortable showing her but she insisted she needed to see it and said she needed to make sure I had enough to cover the amount. So just to shut her up, she saw that I definitely had more than enough to pay my bill, she apologized and went back inside. Additionally, they speak in Cantonese about diners thinking that some of us don't understand what they're saying about them. Totally disrespectful and extremely unprofessional. I highly do not recommend anyone ever visiting here!

It serves a craving. Wouldn't be my go to spot for dim sum though - portions were small, and taste was ok. For 4 ppl, we order 10 dishes, one never came, and we were still hungry.

My husband and I have been coming here for years. The food is fantastic, made fresh on premises. The staff are great, we are always greeted like family. They don’t do cart service, you order off a menu but the food arrives to your table hot. They also have many flash frozen dim sum dishes available to take home. It’s not fancy inside but it’s always clean. Well worth a try if you like dim sum.

Not only is this place is the worst dim sum in Mississauga, they charge for TEA that we didn't ask for and some extra tax that I have no idea what it was (it's probably a gratuity charge). No use arguing with the cashier. She then had the audacity to ask why didn't leave a tip (we are good tippers, the money is not the point it's the shady business practices of charging extra to customers that cannot be tolerated). Never going back again.

I've had dim sum at this restaurant twice this summer, and both visits were very enjoyable. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. I particularly enjoyed the steamed BBQ pork buns, fried shrimp triangles, vegetable spring rolls. The egg tart and mango pudding was also very good. The restaurant is bright and clean, and not very loud even thought they are always quite busy. The two people working at the front of house (I'm assuming the owners) were very friendly both times. At no point did anyone demand a tip (although we did tip, as the service was excellent). Jade Dim Sum is the nicest dim sum restaurant I've been to so far, and I would absolutely visit again. (Note that while the parking lot at the front of the building is usually full, there are more spots around the back).

A classic Chinese culinary experience featuring a series of small servings of diverse dishes, including an assortment of steamed or fried dumplings, is what Dim Sum is all about. And they do it very well here at Jade. The food was hot and fresh and came out very quickly. This is the second time we were here and will definitely make it a regular visit.

Good Dim Sum spot for Mississauga area. Gets super busy on weekends with long lines. Steamed dishes that come in the bamboo baskets are super hot, the other dishes are warm at best because they serve them on cold plates. Price is pretty decent as well. 3.5 stars

Came here on a Sunday at 1PM and it was packed! Note they do have a very small parking lot. Great selection of the staple dim sum dishes at very fair prices. We ordered the usual affair and everything hit the spot except the custard bun. Wouldn't get it again and would recommend the egg yolk bun. The custard was solid and almost jello like. Would recommend and come back.
