Hey - we're Jack Astor's. Our mission? Great people helping other great people totally have a blast while enjoying amazing food. We specialize in delicious food and drink and are a lot like a reverse mullet- we're a party in the front and all business in the back. In all seriousness though, we take real pride in our food and make over 200 recipes in house - Every. Single. Day. Mic drop. Try our fresh guacamole, centre cut aged Canadian AAA striploins or our famous Jack's Chicken Fingers, made with fresh never frozen seasoned chicken tenders, hand breaded to order. We also sling an impressive selection of craft brews and cocktails. So let your hair down, loosen your belt and come hangout!

Coming back to Barrie from a long trip, I was in dire need of something to eat, given how late at night it was. While I wasn't expecting much more than a quick fix, I was astounded by the quality service Caleb gave me. Very friendly & professional, we had a lovely chat about Canada's geography, along with our own interests & passions all the while I was able to enjoy my meal. All together, I had a wonderful experience, and hope to see him again! 😄

Beautiful Christmas 🎄 atmosphere. Server was amazing and took special care of my husband’s allergies. Overall an amazing dinner.

Beautiful location with wonderful service! Kylie helped us out (hope I got the name correct) and she was absolutely great. Interior is very warm and welcoming full of cute lights and decorations. The burgers were a little too saucy, I’d recommend asking for no/light mayo. Chicken tacos were really delicious!

WOW!! I haven't dined at Jack Astor's in years, but last night did not disappoint. I went for my work Christmas dinner, and it was fantastic. Walking in, we felt like we had been transported to Whoville, Christmas was everywhere. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, we had a manager stop by our large group to say hello, and ensure everything was okay- she definitely made us feel valued. We were served by Kelsey, and so was kind, funny and upbeat. She served our party of 20 easily, and made us feel like we were her only concern. Our only complaint ( 4 stars) was Jack's is expensive, but it's nice as a occasional treat. The food was hot, fresh and well made. Decent portions, and requests were met with a smile. It was a great night out! Can't wait to return.

Christine was phenomenal! Had an excellent time. One of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a restaurant before :) always loved jack astors and now I think I can confidently say this is my favourite location!!

Ordered 2 meals for pick up from the hotel down the road. They said it would be ready in 15 to 20 minutes and it was ready and hot right on time. I couldn’t review the atmosphere because they have a side entrance where you ring a bell and they bring it out to you. My son and I had the crispy chicken sandwich and the buffalo chicken sandwich. Without a doubt the best. The chicken was moist and crispy amazing job! I support my jack astors in St. Catharines regularly because their food is constantly good. it was nice to see another location producing great food. Great job.

We normally only patronize independent restaurants but my son and daughter in Law are big Jack Astor fans, so we had dinner there with them. My expectations were not that high so I was very pleasantly surprised. I really liked the lively upbeat atmosphere with great lighting and pictures/artwork. The hosts and wait staff were very pleasant and professional. I liked the team serving concept too, great for efficiency. And the food was quite good. I had a meal size salad called the Fiesta, highly recommend this if you are into zesty salads with a large piece of guacamole. My son had a nice New York steak with a large baked potato and grilled vegetables, very good. And my wife and Daughter in Law had a chicken wrap and chicken fingers, both quite good. Deserts are reasonably priced and delicious too. Even the gardens outside are healthy and well kept. We’ll be back!
