Istanbul Doner House Burlington

I visited this restaurant today, and it was amazing! The food was delicious, and the service was top-notch. The Adana kebab was perfectly seasoned, the pie with meat and cheese was rich and flavorful, and the chicken was so tender and juicy. Everything tasted fresh and was cooked perfectly. I also picked up their ready-made sweet boxes, and they are absolutely wonderful! The staff were super friendly and made sure we had a great experience. I’m already looking forward to coming back! Highly recommended!

I tried Turkish food for the first time. The food and atmosphere were both amazing! We ordered, Lahmacun and Chicken Beyti Kebab. Everything tasted so fresh and great. For dessert we tried, Dark golden kunefe. It is a must try. I am not a dessert person but I really enjoyed it !

The last time I ate such a good kebab was in Istanbul. Everything was so fresh and delicious. Superb fast service. I will definitely come again.

Solid option for authentic Turkish food. Service is slightly lacking. I’ve been here a twice now since they opened. The place that used to be at this location was good, but some of the dishes disappointed me (like the künefe). The menemen was the best thing I’ve had here. SO flavourful. I would go back just for this. The appetizer (meze) platter is reasonably priced and each meze was delicious. The Ali nazik lacked some flavour (I think salt) but was still good. Wouldn’t get it again The İskender was excellent. Close to the best I’ve had in Canada. The meat was juicy, the sauce was flavorful, and the portion size was good. The çiğ köfte was also good. The pide was good, really nice texture to the bread. The filling lacked some flavour, but still enjoyed it. Both times I’ve been the service has been slightly slow. The food comes out fairly quick, but the server the last time did not tend to our table super well. The food arrived at odd times (like the bread with the mezes and menemen), we weren’t offered any water, and there were no napkins on the table. It seemed like they may have been understaffed. Overall I’d recommend this place! I’ve tried over 20 Turkish restaurants in Ontario and this is up there in my top 5.

We recently had breakfast with a group of friends at Istanbul Doner House, and it was an outstanding experience! The food was not only delicious but of exceptional quality, and the portions were generous, making it a great value for the price—we all left feeling completely satisfied! Our server, Chidem, was fantastic! She was attentive, accommodating, and provided top-notch service. Overall, it was a memorable dining experience, and we can’t wait to return!

The restaurant atmosphere resembles a family. The food tastes are awesome. It is the most closest taste which I have tried in Türkiye. If you miss your food culture back home, I really recommend here. The staff are friendly though. Thank you for these delightful treats!

Great Turkish restaurant, our daughter loved their bread with hummus and the chicken shish. The salads were amazing with goat cheese. Big portion too and recommend the beef boner if you are meat lovers.

This place is incredible. Fresh baked breads and delicious flavour filled foods. We had the Istanbul breakfast for 2. There was so much food! Two kinds of eggs, honey dips, olives, cheeses, cured meats, bagels, cheesy pastries and more. We ate till we were stuffed and still brought 2 boxes home! They provide a complimentary pot of warm tasty tea to accompany your food. The price of this amazing spread was only $40! The servers were so friendly and helpful. It’s a must try. I’d give it 11 out of 10.
