Walking up to the doors you get an amazing aroma coming from the business. Staff were great. Ordered the jerk chicken and the flavor and spices were fantastic. Great spot to try if you haven't.

I wanted to like the food, pepper level was good. However, the chicken didn't seem fresh and the coleslaw needs more flavor. Called ahead and still had to wait for the food to be prepared. Hard to find a good Carribean restaurant now-a-days though. Wish them all the best.

We ordered jerk chicken oxtail mixed. I am pleased I every way, service, food and atmosphere is great! Everyone was friendly and smiling. The food is hot and delicious, the spice is just right. Love it!

I usually get the large jerk chicken with rice and coleslaw. So so good. Best place to get jerk chicken, I've tried the others and there is just something missing. Oxtail is also good. Jerk has just the right amount of heat, it's not overpowering. Ladies at the counter are always friendly.

Best Jerk Chicken in Hamilton. Dropped in with friends and ordered different items and we shared everything. It was very delicious, fresh and aromatic. Will continue to come here because of the food and warm customer service. Highly recommend Island Jerk Hut.

Excellent (friendly) service and the food was good for the most part. Lovely rice and peas (shelly), Jerk Chicken a bit spicy (not a bad thing), but the Jamaican Brown Stew Chicken needs some work. A bit too sweet.. almost a ketchup undertone.

Went today and ordered jerk chicken w/ coleslaw, curry chicken w/ plantains, and brown stew chicken w/ plantains (all large). As well as 3 hot patties and a bottle of mango nectar. Service was prompt and friendly. Prices were very reasonable with big portions and delicious. Picture of curry chicken has my patty crumbs; sorry! No picture of the jerk chicken - was eaten too quickly. Will go again. Ps; they take credit cards.
