Isabelle Restaurant & Lounge

My partner and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Pearle Hotel in Burlington, and our experience was nothing short of exceptional! The staff were amazing and welcoming. However, the true highlight of our visit was dining at the restaurant! Isabelle boasts a nice lakeside patio that’s perfect for a relaxed meal with an unforgettable view, great for a date night! The Mediterranean-inspired menu was refreshing and full of flavour! Highly recommend! What truly elevated our visit at the restaurant, however, was the outstanding service provided by our server Allison! She is an absolute gem—approachable, warm, and full of positive energy. Allison’s deep knowledge of the menu and her enthusiasm for both the restaurant and the local area made our experience even more memorable. Her recommendations were spot-on, and her ability to connect with guests felt genuine and effortless. She’s an incredible ambassador for both Isabelle and Burlington, she made us feel at home! 5 stars all the way! We can’t wait to return!

We’ve come here a handful of times and are always happy with our experience! It’s a beautiful restaurant with classy atmosphere, portions are good on most items and super flavorful. Located in the pearl hotel and spa. We typically come Monday on half priced pasta day which makes the meals a lot more reasonable, there’s also happy hour specials on most days. Huge drink menu, great selection of food for lots of different dietary restrictions. Staff are typically quite nice but I’ve found most have an attitude. Overall a wonderful place to celebrate special occasions and stunning in the summer!

I’ve been to this restaurant twice, and both times were disappointing. While the place is undeniably beautiful, the service was slow and inattentive where we had to wait for something as simple as getting water, even though it wasn’t busy (went for brunch) The food is overpriced and bland - I suppose you are paying just for the presentation as it was nice but I just cannot wrap my head around paying $21 for mid avocado toast. I wanted to like it but the poor service and underwhelming food make it hard to recommend

Three meals - five stars While staying at the Pearle I got to try its in-house restaurant. Food and service were top notch. The grilled octopus dinner entree was tender and flavourful - mildly spicy with olives and fingerling potatoes in a Mediterranean sauce. The mushroom Benedict was just perfect. The yolk was not runny nor dry. When cut it would just defy gravity for that perfect split second! Farm to table roasted potatoes complete breakfast. For brunch I had the steak frites accompanied by a pear spritz. The mustard sauce gave the whole dish that Zing! Overall this is restaurant breaks the stereotype of a “hotel” restaurant. It’s top notch and exudes a NYC bistro vibe. I will return for sure.

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying a beautiful brunch at Isabelle in Burlington, and it was truly a delightful experience. The ambiance of the restaurant is inviting, making it the perfect setting for a relaxing meal. The food was exceptional, showcasing a delightful range of flavors and high-quality ingredients. The coffee was impeccable, providing the perfect complement to our meal. I also appreciated the selection of non-alcoholic bubble drinks, which were refreshing and added a romantic touch to our brunch. To top it all off, the desserts were simply divine, beautifully presented and utterly delicious. Our server, Jim, provided outstanding service throughout our visit. His attentiveness and helpfulness enhanced our dining experience significantly. Overall, I highly recommend Isabelle for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable brunch in Burlington. I can't wait to return for another wonderful meal!

Very cute restaurant by the lake, the vibes are spectacular!! It’s very aesthetic from the inside, a great place to eat dinner around sunset. The staff was also very kind and accommodating. The food was good too, however they did charge $15 for adding shrimp to a meal (only 5 pieces) which was kind of absurd. Besides that, the prices for the meals were reasonable. We also tried the strawberry shortcake, and honestly it was not good at all. Would recommend not getting it.

I arrived after 11am on Saturday and missed breakfast, but the lunch menu offered a good selection. The restaurant was quiet, and we got a table outside with a great lake view. We ordered french toast, prawn spaghetti, and skinny fries. The fries were soggy, so I probably won’t order them again. The prawn spaghetti had a bit too much lemon for my taste. The highlight was definitely the lake view. I imagine it's even nicer at night.

My sister and me visited Isabelle for breakfast this past weekend. While waiting for it to open we could smell the deliciousness outside. Breakfast didn’t disappoint. We ordered the Isabelle Breakfast and Florentine Benedict. Both were absolutely yummy! Coffee was great and the refills kept coming. Service was attentive. We had a great table looking out on to the lake. We’ll be back. Maybe for dinner next time.
