Iron Chef Chinese Restaurant

Ordered takeout. Food fresh and tasty however they missed one order. When I called all they did was argue not their fault. We had picked our dinner up on our way home from the mall so it wasnot practicable to go pick this item up and they would not assist with delivery. They also advertise 10% discount if you pay cash. That was not included in the price either and we did pay cash. We did get our free order of chicken wings though. We bounce back and fourth for Chinese food between South Garden and Iron Chef as they both offer duck dishes. This is not the first time we have had issue with Iron Chef. The food is good but the staff are just rude if there are issues. We have never had issue with South Garden and will now order exclusive with them.

I’ve driven past this place a plethora of times in my life. Me and my best friend were driving down Upper Sherman to go to Harvey’s when we both started talking about our curiosity of this place. We decided to pull onto a side street and turn around to go check it out. Very glad we did! The service was lovely and fast. The restaurant was clean, cute, and quaint. The portions of the food were big. The food itself was delicious as well. We will definitely be back!

I had a hankering for dim sum, and decided to eat here with a friend to celebrate a milestone birthday. We arrived after 6, but I didn't realize that dim sum was only served until 3. However, our server instantly went out of her way and accommodated us by offering a limited dim sum menu based on availability. The food was terrific, served hot and fresh, with very good portion sizes. Although I'm a massive shrimp dumpling fan, my favourite turned out to be the steamed beef with pepper dish. The restaurant was clean, and our server was friendly, funny, and attentive. I will definitely go back.

This hidden gem has some of the tastiest dishes in the region. Don't be put off by the price, the dishes are not skimpy and are full of meat, shrimps, and the portion size is generous. The price is a reflection of the quality. I will definitely be a repeat customer. Good table size for family and groups. This place reminds me of my childhood chinese restaurants in Toronto's Chinatown. Parking out front, Payment by cash or cards, washrooms on main floor, close to highway access.

First time, Last time.... Sesame chicken was grey, clearly 2-3 days old and reheated. Not fresh, gross, and unappetizing. The shezuan rice was good and fresh. The egg rolls were wet and soggy, also likely refrigerated and reheated. If you wanna spend money to buy 2-3 day old leftover food for takeout, then this is your place. Otherwise, would avoid. Edit 1: Since the owner has responded and said I am “bs” I am uploading some photos to show how gross their food really is. The crispy shrimps had a batter on them that was half and inch thick and would probably bounce of the floor or if I dropped them there, that’s how hard they were. All of my review and fair, balanced and honest. If you had served good fresh food my review would have been far different.

Very authentic Chinese food. I've lived in China for half of my life. Once I took a bite, it felt like home, and I almost shed a tear. We ordered 4 dishes, which consisted of The Lobster dish, Orange chicken, Wonton soup, and Fried Rice. Portions were very large, and the flavor was extremely delicious. Our server was very nice. She always checks in on us and makes sure we are doing well. The cost of the meal came to $92, which is a steal for what we ordered with the portions. I'm definitely planning on coming here again!

For just these noodles and congee, we ended up paying $43. The menu prices in the reviews are lower than the actual prices. I was surprised that the congee size XL is smaller than the size of my palm, and it costs $13.99. The taste is blunt. Congee Queen has $9 that is twice the size of this. The beef in the stir fried noodles tastes nothing and even my kids who loves stir fried noodles didn't like it too. The dish is very dry, we don't usually have leftovers but this time we did.

Been going to the place since I was little (for 10+ years), the owners are very nice and the food is delicious! Highly recommend the hot and sour soup, we’ve ordered it for years and the quality/taste has never changed! Great place for families, big or small groups. They have good parking too! A gem in Hamilton that should be appreciated more :)
