Indraprastha - Markham

The food is amazing. Although it's my first time ever eating Indian food, I am greatly impressed with the quality and taste of the food, including the Tandori Chicken, which packs great flavour while still keeping the juiciness of the chicken, the Garlic Naan bread also tasty being an impressive combination with chicken curry, which overall made the restaurant one of the peaks of cuisine I ever ate. In addition, the waiter is extremely friendly, providing quick response and friendly answers to me while keeping attention to the environment. Please give him a raise! Although the environment is quite dim, the restaurant is surprisingly clean, one of the polished restaurants I've been into. 5 out of 5 is obvious, and if a 6 is available, it surely deserves it. It's truly one of a kind amazing restaurant.

The food is made very well , served in generous portions that will leave you completely satisfied. As a non-vegetarian, I don’t usually like vegetarian dishes, but their appetizers and paneer biryani have changed my mind. To top off an already stellar meal, the desserts are a must-try – the brownie delight and apricot delight are simply amazing and the perfect dessert. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for exceptional Indian food.

Had an amazing time at this establishment — the staff sparks hospitality and the food caters to your own specific taste. For appetizers, tried their chicken 555 and sizzling kababs: perfection in terms of taste and wonderful presentation. Main course: Can certainly recommend their chicken mughlai — a proper substitute to butter chicken especially suitable for those with less spice tolerance. Authentic biryani flavours with Mutton Ghee roast being the highlight. Huge variety of drinks with bar in house. Tried their ‘Mago’ drink which was a refreshing mocktail with mango and coconut flavour. Big thank you to Mohan and IPM team for making us feel special. You have won as your loyal local foodie clients!!!

Delicious food with friendly customer service! Their appetizers are incomparable. Options for vegans and foodies alike. Try: Gangster Gobi (see Pic - food heaven for Vegans) Mutton ghee roast biryani Chicken 555 And, their delicious red pickled onions! Lots of items to choose from, including hakka, curries, grill and bar items.

We recently visited with our family and had a wonderful time! The customized cocktails paired with mouth-watering appetizers, tailored to our individual spice levels, were a delight. The authentic Biriyanis were a highlight, and the whole family is eager to return and experience it all again.

My first visit to this new Gem turned out to be an absolutely amazing experience. Tasty food, luxurious interiors and very friendly owners checking on us regularly- made the whole evening very pleasant and satisfactory for the palette. Definite visit if you are looking for an enriching South Indian food. Their collection of different mocktails and cocktails was a surprising bonus

This restaurant model is a franchise and we came to learn that each location modifies their menu to suit the demographic of their location. My friend had gone to their downtown location and was excited to see they were opening a location in Markham. We ordered a bunch of dishes to try and the flavours and the preparation of the dishes were different from his experience with the downtown location. I would say the food and service were lovely but treat each location as a separate restaurant and don’t expect the experience to be the same. This location is new and the servers are junior. As we had paid but still finishing our beers, the server kept coming by to ask if we were waiting on anything or if we needed help. We felt like we were being rushed to leave the table even though I’m sure that was not her intention. Wishing the owner luck and hope they continue to do well at this location as the restaurant filled up around 7pm.

I took my son to Indraprastha for lunch the other day. The food was fantastic! Riya, our server took excellent care of us. We sat on the patio, enjoying the lovely view. As a long time South Side regular, I must say I love the new restaurant, and can't wait to come back and try more dishes 🤩🤩
